"Stella, have a good day. I'll call you if I can see you tonight, my wife has this fashion show in Milan that she's planning like a madwoman so I have to help her. But, last night was amazing," Enzo said with a grin. He then leaned over and kissed me.
I gave a quick smile and got out of his European sports car. The damn thing was probably the cost of everyone else's car in the school parking lot combined.
Lots of people were looking over as Enzo's car audibly drove away. I headed into the building of the high school, dreary and exhausted already.
Enzo was a special man. I had known him for two years and I trusted him. Most of the time, the men I were with were just the flavor of the month. I liked a lot of things, such as pricey jewels and Birkin bags and that was my way of getting them. But Enzo, was an ongoing affair.
I was showered with money and all these gifts in exchange for my body and my mind. It wasn't all sex with those men, sometimes it was sitting and listening to him talk. I didn't mind though, I liked the days when it was just sitting and talking.
When my mother had found out what I had been doing, she kicked me out. Said that I was 'a whore and that I was a disgrace to her.'
It hurt me to hear those words coming out of the woman who raised you. When I tried to come back to the house, trying to get her to let me back in, I had found that she moved away. I called her phone thousands of times and it was disconnected. She walked out of my life and that was it.
That was two years ago, being a fifteen year old alone in the streets was pretty terrifying. I remember not sleeping for days as every sound made me afraid. I was afraid of the shivering cold and rainy ice I had encountered. I was afraid of the dirty men who liked to corner me in alleys and do unholy things to me as my screams and begs for mercy just passed through the air, never being heard of course. I was afraid of my grumbling stomach from days of not eating.
One night, I was in a situation where I had two greasy men under the influence of alcohol corner me. I was so afraid, I didn't want those things to happen to me again.
I began screaming bloody murder until a man appeared behind the two. The man, whom I later learned was Enzo, pulled out a gun and pointed it at the two who had cornered me.
When the two lunged at him, there was a sudden loud, ringing noise that echoed through the empty alleys. Blood splattered everywhere, including on my face and clothes. I fell to my knees, in shock at what I had just witnessed. Time came to a halt and the beat of my own heart was reverberating in my ears at an alarming magnitude.
I felt myself being lifted from the ground and carried to a car. Once I was in, it sped off. I was still not moving, not speaking, not blinking. Just my heavy breathing was the only sign that I was still alive.
The car stopped and I was carried into a beautiful mansion and was placed in a shower. The hot water started running and I was left alone.
Once the shock began to fade and the warmth of the water began to set in, I took off the bloodied, dirty articles of clothing. Showering with hot water felt so rejuvenating.
When I was finished and wrapped in a towel, I walked out and found myself in a massive bedroom with the man who had saved me sitting on the bed.
He was looking at me, wearing a navy blue suit. His eyes a brilliant shade of blue, staring into mine.
"Why did you kill those guys back there?" I asked, taking a slow step back. Fear was pulsing through my body. I was afraid of this man.
He got up and began towards me. He gently placed his hands on my bare shoulders and ducked down to be my height.
"I'm not going to hurt you. I mean, I did save you for Christ's sake," he said, his voice deep and seductive.
"Why did you save me?" I asked.
"To be completely honest with you, I don't know. But, I'm glad I did. What's your name, love?"
He leaned forward and closed the gap between us, pressing his lips to my neck gently.
I tensed and I heard him chuckle. "Stella."
"Enzo." He leaned away and then looked at me. "Stella, may I?" He gestured towards my towel.
I shook my head no and my towel fell to the floor.
That was the story of Enzo and I. He took me in from off the streets. He let me stay in one of his condos nearby his house. I couldn't be in the house because of his wife but I didn't mind. It was nice to not be sleeping on the concrete ground and I was grateful to him.
He spent time, money, and his love on me and it made me get better.
Even though I loved Enzo, I could be with any man as long as he was married. Another year and Enzo said he's marry me. I smiled at the thought, it warmed my heart.

Author's Note:
Hey Wattpad! This is my new story and I just wanted to say a couple things....
I do not agree with the characters of my story. I do not think it is appropriate for a fifteen year old to be with men that are in their thirties but this is how my character is. I wanted to give a background so it'll add more depth to Stella's character.
Thank you for reading, it really means so so so much to me haha :D <3
