Chapter 1: Monsters Have Come

It was a normal day. Last night you had cried yourself to sleep, and this morning you were getting ready for your work. You got up grumpily, showered, had some breakfast and coffee. (If you don't from coffee then your drinking a drink that you have and love, I don't even drink coffee so I understand!)

Your job? You were a painter. A good one at that! Even though no one really cared that much. You earned them money, that's it! Yeah, everything was normal, by now you were just watching the morning news that you have always watched in the morning.

She was talking about accidents, kidnapping, and some other topics that didn't interest you. Then you heard whispers, then a hand appeared on screen giving the reporter a paper 'more news, it is probably new.' You said this in your head. She read over it. Once she seemed to have read till she was at the end, she gasped! She had a terrified look on her face when she said, "Everyone try to stay calm but the Monsters have been released! From what information we have gathered they mean no harm! And get this, (I don't watch the news if you couldn't tell! XD) all the Monsters are from a thing called a 'AU' at first they may not seem like it, but every Monster has other duplicates, but they are all special. You may not harm them unless they prove to be threat to your life!"

Once you heard this you gasped as well. 'Monsters were free!?!? And there are multiples of the same Monsters because of AU's!?!? Oh no, no, no, no! This cant be happening! Stay calm (Y/n) they aren't bad... Or they wouldn't have done a peace treaty. Yeah... They aren't bad... Calm down (Y/n), deep breaths...' You repeated your last thought in your head, and listened to it. Deep breaths... Sounds easy right? Not right now! Man anxiety takes a kick right in the chest. Makes it harder to breath than it should be....

When you snapped back into reality there was a kid's show on, 'news is over for today...' You thought, but it felt like you were forgetting something. Doesn't seem like there is anything that you- YOUR JOB! Oh no, you have to get there, so you have to leave now! You grabbed your painting for this week and your headphones. You had to book it! If not you would be late, if you were who knows what the consequence will be? You can't take any chances.

You ran as fast as you could. You then checked your watch. 7:47... You have 13 minutes. By the speed that your going you will probably get there in 10 minutes? About? You weren't paying attention on where you were going. You knew how to get to work by heart so it really didn't matter. All that you had to look out for is people... And Monsters, but nobody ever went your way so your good. Or at least you thought. When you weren't paying attention someone was also in a rush. Neither of you were paying attention! The rude awakening you got was you colliding with another body, "oh! I'm so, so, so sor-" Oh my god...
