   “Kuya, wake up already! Jeez, such a sleepyhead!”

   “Bakit ngayon ka lang dumating?! Gabi na oh! Hindi mo ba alam na alalang-alala nako sayo?!"

   “At dahil birthday mo, niluto ko ang favorite mo. Tadah! Adobo! At may kasama pang spaghetti! Tapos binilhan pa kita ng cupcake! Happy birthday, Kuya! I love you!”

   “You’re the best kuya in the whole wide world!"

   “Kuyaaa."

   “Kuyaaaa!”

   Bakit? Bakit ang kapatid ko pa ang mawala? Bakit ang kapatid ko pa ang kailangang mamatay? Bakit siya pa?! Bakit?! Damn it!

   I’ve lost my mother, my father is nowhere to be found and I don’t even know if he’s still alive or not, and now...my sister? Fuck this life!

   “Hey. Wake up.” naramdaman kong may umalog ng balikat ko. I open my eyes, sumalubong saken ang mukha ni Asuza na alalang-alala. “You’re having a bad dream.”

   Bumangon ako. Nilibot ko ang paningin ko. Kwarto? Nasa isang puting kwarto ako? “Where am I?” I asked him with confusion.

   “School clinic, of course.” napatingin ako sa pinto and there, I saw Alexis leaning on the door with cross arms. “You've been sleeping for 5 hours.”

   Wait a minute! As far as I remember, I was in my house, in my room. With them, they try to kiddnap me. Ay may nabanggit din si Alexis. An academy... I think it was... Stonefield Academy? And Asiza also mentioned about that ability thing, he became invincible. Alexis had this Chain Controller that can control thousands of chains.

   Napahawak ako sa noo ko. So all of that, wasn’t a dream?

   “Are you feeling better?” tanong ni Asuza.

   “Tell me I’m just dreamig.”

   “You’re not dreaming, stupid.” Alexis answered.

   Nandito nga ako sa Stonefield Academy? “Pano ako napunta dito?”

   “While you we’re unconcious, we brought you here.” nakangiting sabi ni Asuza.

   “But why me? I don’t have the ability you’re talking about! Nagkamali kayo ng taong huhulihin!” I hissed.

   “Like I’ve said, you are the person we’re looking for.” sabi naman ni Alexis. “Listen here, you should be thankful dahil dinala ka namin dito. Kung hindi dahil samen baka napahamak na yang buhay mo.”

   “At bakit ako magpapasalamat sa inyo? At mapapahamak ang buhay ko? Nagpapatawa ka ba?” naniningkit na tanong sa kanya.

   “I’m dead serious here. Do you think all of this are just a stupid joke?” her eyes became colder than before.

   “Calm down, Alexis. Alam naman natin na wala pa siyang alam tungkol sa ability niya.” singit ni Asuza.

   “Tch. Whatever.” tapos tumalikod siya. Tiningnan niya muna ako bago siya tuluyang umalis.

   “What's her problem?” tanong ko kay Asuza pagkaalis ni Alexis.

   “Pagpasensyahan mo na si Alexis kung ganun ang ugali niya. Masasanay ka din sa kanya.” he smiled and adjusted his glasses. “Gaya ng sinabi ni Alexis, you should be thankful to us.”
