"You know how we agreed to take it slow and all that?" I start, after Perrie and I go into her room.

"Yeah," she nods, looking into my eyes.

"Well I was thinking, that's why I was so out of it, that I don't want to take it slow. I want to be in a relationship with you, of course only if you'd want that too, because I like you a lot. Seriously, I do. This isn't any type of phase or anything like that. I genuinely like you and I would love to advance this crush to the next level." I really hope that didn't sound weird or creepy.

When I look at her, her eyes are wide open and her mouth is slightly gaping. She collects herself and nods.

"So would I. I also was thinking about us and I think of it exactly the same way. I want to be yours, I would love to have you as my girlfriend."

When the words leave her mouth, without a second thought, I cup her cheeks and kiss her.

She's surprised, and honestly so am I. My heart was pounding but now, as I kiss her, I calm down and I notice she does too.

As our mouths move together in sync, I don't feel any type of electricity like in the books. I feel peaceful. There isn't a fireworks show going on inside me, there is calmness. There aren't millions of butterflies flying around, there is only Perrie and I. Together in sync.

But the kiss is over as quick as it started. But I'm happy, and it seems so is Perrie.

Her beautiful blonde hair is down her back and her skin is glowing. She is breathtaking. Her smile is huge and my own smile is mirroring hers.

"I'm happy." She whispers as she rests her head on my chest. "But I bet the girls are wondering why we're gone for so long. I don't want them to worry."

The girls. "Are we going to tell them?" The words leave my mouth just as I thought of them.

"Not yet. We don't know how they'll react."

"True," I nod, thinking of how bad the consequences would be if they didn't react well.

"Well, before you start thinking of all the bad stuff, let's go back in there."

We go back to the living room where Jade and Jesy are and sit down. Me on the armchair and Perrie next to the girls on the couch.

"Okay so what film are we watching?"

A few hours, lots of films and bags of crisps later, Jade and Jesy are asleep on the floor and the only ones awake are Perrie and I.

We are somehow on the couch, kind of on top of each other and barely fitting. But it's fine for me. I like how we are now.

We're in that stage where it's new love. Somehow we're still getting to know each other. And somehow we're shy around each other although we've been in each others pockets for the past five years.

We hold each other close as we whisper our conversation into each other's ears.

"I'm happy we didn't go slow, I think we shouldn't force this I'm any way. Let it flow," I whisper.

"Oh my god! Don't ever say 'Let it flow' ever again. It sounds weird, like a period joke or something." Both of us try our hardest to not laugh but we don't succeed very well.

"What would happen if one of them woke up?" I gesture to Jade and Jesy. "I mean, what would you do?"

"I'd probably throw you to the other side of the room out of panic," more trying not to laugh, "so then they would be distracted and forget if they saw anything. Easy!"

I try to chuckle silently, but of course I fail miserably, causing Perrie to 'shhh!' at me.

"We have so many studio sessions tomorrow, we should probably get some sleep." Perrie reminds me although she looks like she doesn't want to go to sleep, just like me.

"I think we can stay up a little bit more..."

Our last few hours before falling asleep are spent kissing, talking about random things and telling each other things we haven't told anyone else. Best night of my life.

yay it's official that they are finally in a relationship!! now we can get to the good stuff!! I have so much under my sleeve so I'm excited to write it all out.
