Chapter 3

“Branna!” I heard my name being called again. I was just clearing the plates from Aodhan’s table. They were all chatting aimlessly about something while drinking coffee. They all looked up at the sound of my name being called. Abi came up beside me and grinned.

“You clock off in 10 minutes don’t you?” she asked.

“Yep.” I said, popping the p.

“Well to thank you for helping me avoid being fired, we’re going out.” She said.

“Do I not get a choice?” I asked smiling.

“Sure you do, I already know it’s going to be a yes.” She smirked.

“You know me so well. Got your fake I.D?” I asked her.

“You know I do. Got a change of clothes?” she asked.

“Since we always go out after our shift on a Friday, you know I do.” I smiled.

“Oh aye? I didn’t see you as a bad one, Branna.” Dillon smirked from beside me.

Abi looked at me and raised her eyebrows in shock, she knew I didn’t talk to anyone in school. She was home schooled, and I told her every day how much I wished I was home schooled.

                “Who’s your friend?” Abi asked.

“Don’t ask.” I shook my head.

“Where are you girls going?” Declan asked us.

Don’t tell them. Don’t tell them. I mentally screamed at Abi not to tell them.

“There’s a club just down the road.” She replied.

Damn.

“Room for four more?” Dillon asked.

“Sure, the more the merrier.” Abi answered with a smile. She was far too nice for her own good that girl.

“Great! You know, your friend is much friendlier than you are, Branna.” Dillon smirked.

“Abi. Her name is Abi.” I snapped.

I quickly introduced Abi to the boys and took their plates into the kitchen. Abi and I got changed in the changing rooms quickly.

“Who are your friends?! They’re hot!” Abi said, wasting no time to get down to business.

“They’re not my friends; I’ve only just met them tonight. They’re Jack’s friends, meaning they are already jerks.” I frowned.

“Oh. Sorry for inviting them then.” She matched my frown.

                “It’s okay.” I smiled lightly.

I kept my short black skirt and tights on, but changed my blouse for a red low cut top and lots of bangles and necklaces, and my flat shoes for a pair of nice black heels. I tugged a brush through my hair, added some lip gloss and we were ready to go. I texted Mary to tell her not to wait up and we went back into the main restaurant area to meet the boys. I couldn’t believe we were actually going through with this. Jack was standing with them, talking to them about something. Dillon nodded in our direction in appreciation, making Jackson turn around and smile, showing all his teeth.
