Chapter 22

What. Happened. Last. Night?

I could hardly open my eyes my head was hurting so much. I struggled to move my stiff limbs and lifted my hand to my face. I rubbed my eyes in an attempt to help them open. I opened them slowly and looked around. I was in Aislinn’s room and sleeping next to her on her bed… she looked just as exhausted as me.

                “Aislinn?” I croaked.

She groaned and slowly opened her eyes.

                “What happened?” I asked her.

“I can’t remember… I think you passed out in the kitchen.” She mumbled.

“I remember dancing, and seeing you making out with some guy…” I winked at her and she rolled her eyes in response, “I can’t remember much else.” I groaned.

“It’ll come back to us during the course of the day. Now get out of bed, by the looks of it we both need some coffee.”

I sat up and immediately regretted it after my head started to spin making me feel nauseous. I groaned and lay back down gently.

                “I can’t get up… I’m ill.” I moaned into a pillow.

“You’re not ill, you’re hung over. Believe me… coffee will be like liquid gold right now.” She said.

I sat back up again, slower this time, and finally made it to my feet. We walked downstairs and into the kitchen where Declan, Dillon, Carrick, Aodhan and Niall were all sitting.

                “Good morning beautiful!” Dillon beamed.

                “Stop shouting!” I whispered hoarsely.

“Oh dear… I think somebody’s hung over.” Dillon smirked.

I hit him as I sat next to him, but I’m sure it was more of a tap since I had no strength left in my body whatsoever. I laid my head down on the cool counter and sighed.

“So, you look like you had a good time last night, judging by the photos that Aislinn showed us.” Carrick teased.

“Photos? What photos?” I asked groggily.

Carrick picked up Aislinn’s camera that was left resting on the counter and held the screen up for me to see. Aislinn handed me a cup of coffee and I took a gulp of it and glanced up at the camera.

I spat the coffee out… all over Aodhan.

“WHAT IS THAT?!” I screamed, despite my head protesting.

In the picture, I was straddling some guy and full on making out with him. And the other photos were the same; sometimes I was kissing his neck, his jaw, his lips, his hands were on my thigh, in my hair.

What. Did. I. Do?

Aodhan wiped the coffee from his face and I looked at him apologetically.

“Oh yeah, that mega hot waiter we picked up from the restaurant. He was delicious. And he was all over you… literally all over. His hands were everywhere.” Aislinn grinned as she took another sip of her coffee.
