Chapter 30

The mist swirled in front of my eyes, dancing in beautiful shapes, making me feel elated yet cautious as to what was going to happen next. What kind of dream was this anyway?

“I’m coming for you, Branna.” He said.

I jolted awake and tried to cling onto my very short and weird dream, but it was gone as soon as I opened my eyes. I sighed and got out of bed before walking over to the stereo in my room and turning the radio on. A catchy song started playing and I smiled happily. I think today was going to be a good day. I turned the volume up load and danced my way to my closet.

After pulling on a pair of black leggings and a purple vest top, I ran downstairs and into the kitchen. Everyone was there waiting for me to wake up probably.

“Ready to do some more training today?” Aodhan asked me with a smile.

I looked towards Niall and nodded with a smile.

“Yeah sure, what are we doing today, Niall?” I asked.

“Climbing frame work, yoga and a bit of sparring, and then you’re free to do whatever you want.” Niall answered.

            “Wicked.” I smiled.

“Wanna get started now?” he asked.

            “Yeah sure.” I nodded.

“Wait, Branna on a climbing frame? I have got to see this.” Dillon laughed.

They all ended up following us into the room where I first met Niall. It seemed so long ago now. We climbed for a couple of hours before I got bored and moved onto Yoga. After yoga, we did some sparring and then had tea before I went to bed feeling very exhausted and well exercised.

The next morning I woke up, my limbs felt like jelly and they were sore and tired after yesterday’s vigorous work out. I stumbled to the shower and let the warm water work its way over my sore muscles, gently soothing them back to health. As soon as I was washed and dressed in leggings and a red vest top, I walked downstairs to the kitchen. I was surprised to find that Niall was the only one sat down there.

            “Hey Niall.” I smiled brightly.

“Hey gorgeous. How are you?” he asked.

“I’m tired, you worked me hard yesterday! How’re you?” I replied.

“Glad to hear it! I’m good thanks, I have a surprise for you.” He smirked.

“Oh gosh, if it’s a 5 mile run then I think I’ll kill you.” I laughed.

“It’s not a 5 mile run, but that’s not a bad idea.” He chuckled, “Wanna see it?” he asked.

“Sure. Where is everyone?” I asked.

“They’re part of the surprise.” He chuckled, “Right, I’m going to put my hands over your eyes and lead you outside where your surprise is, okay? No peeking now!” he scolded me with a laugh.

I nodded my head and let him put his hands over my eyes and lead me out the back door and into the garden. I couldn’t see anything so I was just relying on him to lead me.

“I’m glad that we can still be friends, Niall. I like being your friend.” I smiled.

“Thanks Branna, but I don’t think you’ll want to be my friend after this surprise.” He laughed lightly.
