Mak's POV
Ali was currently running around the living room singing or should I say screaming 'Let It Go' even though it was close to 9:00 about an hour and half past her usual bedtime. I swear this little child of mine has so much energy she could dance and sing all night long. "WET IT GO WET IT GOOOOO!" She screams. Peta was just laughing her head off at our toddler. "Okay Ali-cat we need to get you ready for bed." I say getting up from the couch.
"But Papaaaaaa." She says falling dramatically on the floor. "No buts little one its way past your bedtime." I say picking her up. "I no tired." She pouts in my arms. "It doesn't matter cause you need to sleep so you won't be tired and grumpy tomorrow." I tell her placing her on her toddler bed. I pick out elephant footie pajamas and put them on Ali. I take her to our bathroom and help her brush her teeth and then she goes potty before I carry her back to her room. "Ok Ali it's time to go to bed." I say tucking her into bed. "Book?" She questions. I agree and grab the book 'Corduroy' and squeeze to fit into her little bed.
Once I finish reading 'Corduroy' she pleads for me to read another book. "Ok Ali. Go pick one off the shelf." I say reluctantly considering it was almost 9:30. She was still wide awake so I knew it was going to take a lot to get her to go to sleep tonight. She runs back to the bed with one of her favorites 'Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!' Once I finished that book Ali was still bursting with energy. "Papa I no tired." She states. "I can tell. How about we go downstairs and watch some TV?" I ask. "Yeah yeah!" She squeals jumping up from her bed.
We walk downstairs and Peta was confused as to why Ali wasn't in bed yet. "Maks it's 10:00 she needs to go to bed." She tells me. "I know but how am I supposed to get that thing to bed." I said pointing to Ali who was spinning around in circles. "She never gets tired." Peta says. I nod in agreement.
"Ali come sit on my lap if we're going to watch TV." I say sitting down in the recliner. "No Papa I dance." She says doing a leap. "Let her wear herself out." Peta tells me. I knew it was a good idea so I let Ali continue dancing. I turned Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on for Ali because it was probably her favorite TV show. "ITS DA MICKEY MOUSE CWUBHOUSE! COME INSIDE ITS FUN INSIDE!" Ali sings. After about thirty minutes Ali had finally winded down. She came and sat on my lap snuggling into me.
"Goodnight Baby Girl. I love you." I say kissing her cheek.
"Night Night Papa." She mumbles out before she drifts off to sleep.
