Peta's POV
Today Sharna and I are going to have a girls day. We're going to go to the mall then we're going to go out to eat. At around 3:00 Sharna comes and picks me up. She drove us to the mall and we started shopping.
"Hey P I saw this really cute dress at Forever 21 but they didn't have it in my size last time can we see if they have it this time?" Sharna asks me. "Yeah of course Shar let's go." I said heading towards Forever 21. Indeed they did have her size so we she got the dress as well as some cute shirts. We shopped for about two more hours at many different stores before I was starting to get hungry. My back and feet were also quite sore because I was just two weeks from my due date. "Shar I think it's time to eat. Baby and mom are starving." I say laughing.
We decide to eat at Panera. Once we order we wait for the buzzer to go off. I felt a little pain in the abdominal region but I just ignored it as it had been happening for awhile. I ate my salad while having small talk with Sharna until I felt a liquid gush down my leg. "Shar we gotta go." I state. "Why? We aren't finished eating." She says confused. "Baby Chmerkovskiy is coming. My water just broke." I said getting up. Sharna understood before getting our plates and throwing our trash away. She grabs my purse and grabs my hand. We walk to her car and write as I sit down a contraction hits. I grip Sharna's hand hard as she drives as quickly as she can to the hospital.
Once we got there I was already five centimeters dilated. I held Sharna's hand tight. "I just called Maks. He's gonna be here as soon as he can." Sharna tells me. About 30 minutes later Maks comes running in. "Baby how far along are you?" He asks me. "Five centimeters." I reply.
Now our daughter decided she wants to take her time. It's been at least six hours and I'm exhausted. I'm in so much pain and I just want to sleep but when I'm almost asleep another contraction hits. "You're doing a great job Beautiful." Maks says kissing me on the forehead. Just seconds later the doctor comes in. "Peta you are ten centimeters dilated which means it's time for you to push." I pushed as hard as I could before I heard the beautiful cries of our daughter.
"She's beautiful just like her Mama." Maks says holding her.
"Alexandra Elizabeth Chmerkovskiy."
