I awoke to my phone blaring for like the fifth time and I knew I should probably get up. I got up and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I put my hair in a high ponytail and put on some light makeup. I'm taking this season off but I still wanted to come to the studio as much as possible. I went over to my closet and got dressed. After I got dressed I decided to check Addison's room to see if her and Alan are in there considering they aren't in my room.
I walked down the hallway to Addie's room to see no one in there. Then it came to me they're probably downstairs because Alan probably got her a bottle last night. I walked downstairs and sure enough there's Alan and Addie asleep on the couch.
I carefully picked up Addie before waking up Alan. "Alan wake up, we got to go to the studio." I told him. He just grunted and rolled over. "Alan get your ass up and get ready." I said sternly. "Nope I'm sleeping." He mumbled. "1...2..." I started. "Fine I'm up and also I'm not a freaking child." Alan said jumping off the couch. We all head back upstairs.
Once I placed Addie on the changing table she woke up and started crying. "Shh Addie-bug. No need to cry." I soothed her. I went over to her dresser and picked out a onesie that Emma got Addie that says, 'All because two people fell in love.' I changed her diaper and then put her in that onesie. I brushed her short brown hair before placing in the headband with a red bow.
"Let's go get you a bottle Addie-girl." I said picking her up and placing her on my hip. Once we got to the kitchen I warmed up her bottle. When the bottle was ready I sat down in the recliner and fed her. "There's my two favorite people!" Alan said walking down the stairs. He came over and gave us both kisses.
Addison had finished her bottle so I was burping her. "Alan go grab Duck Duck from Addie's crib please." I shouted. "Ok, one sec." He replies. About a minute later Alan arrives with Duck Duck and puts him in the diaper bag. Duck Duck is a duck lovey that Jenna got Addie at the hospital.
We decided we would just grab something to eat on the way there so we grabbed everything we needed before going out to the car. I strapped Addison into her car seat and then put the diaper bag and Alan's bag next to her in the backseat. I got in the passenger seat while Alan got in the drivers seat and we were off to the studio.
