Lindsay's POV
I am currently a week past my due date and I want this baby out of me. My stomach is so big that I'm so uncomfortable and can barely do anything. Sam will not leave my side thinking right when he leaves the baby is going to suddenly come.
Right now it's almost one in the morning and I can not sleep. I'm having contractions about fifteen minutes apart right now. I'm tempted to wake up Sam but he deserves some sleep before this baby comes because I have feeling our child wants out today. Sam and I decided to wait until the baby was born to see what the gender is.
Now it was around three and my contractions were around seven minutes apart and I couldn't take it. "Sam wake up." I said nudging him. "Babe it's like three go back to sleep." He mumbles. "It's time." I state. He immediately jumps out of my bed and gets dressed. He helps me downstairs and grabs my hospital bag.
On the way to the hospital the contractions began becoming much more painful. "When did the bad contractions start?" Sam asks. "At around one this morning." I reply. "Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" He questions. "I thought you deserved the sleep." I said honestly.
Not long after getting to the hospital my water broke. I was in an extreme amount if pain. "Stay strong baby you're doing great." Sam says squeezing my hand. "I'll try but it hurts like heck." I say letting a tear out. Sam hums to me while drawing circles on my hand with his thumb. "Do you want me to call our parents?" Sam asks. "Yes please and tell them that I love them." I say. Sam calls our parents and hands the phone to me.
After about six more hours of this torture I finally hear the cries of our child. "It's a girl!" The doctor shouts. It's a little girl, I secretly wanted a little girl the whole time. When I held my baby girl for the first time I had tears of joy streaming down my face.
"So Hallie Capri?" Sam questions.
"Yes, Hallie Capri Cusick."
