Daehyun walked through the door of his apartment, feeling drained from being cooped up at work all day. He stripped off his jacket and shoes, walking to the table where he left the mail before he left. He tossed the bills back on the table and sighed in frustration, until he came across a thickly wrapped retangular object.

Curiously, he unwrapped the package, staring at a book. Daehyun wasn't much of a reader, but two things caught his eyes. One, the author was his ex-boyfriend of about a month. And two, the title of the book was Fiction.

Why did Youngjae send him a book he had written and what was fictional about it?

He shrugged, flipping through the first couple pages. He stopped on the dedication page and read the sentence a thousand times.

Dedicated to the one and only, Jung Daehyun, for putting up with me through this relationship. Too bad it had to end for you.

The words confused Daehyun a bit. What did he mean, for me? Daehyun shrugged and tossed the book aside. He went back to his usual routine; dinner, shower, and a little television before bed. As he lay in bed that night, he couldn't help but wonder what exactly Youngjae had wrote.

Too bad it had to end for you. The words echoed through Daehyun's head, keeping him from the rest his body and mind surely needed. If I'm going to stay up this late,

I might as well read a few pages of that stupid book. Daehyun thought, getting up and looking for the thing that plagued his mind for the past hours.
