Daehyun walked out of the hospital, feeling dead inside. Youngjae was gone, forever, and he didn't know what to do. Knowing it would be dangerous to stay out in the cold at night, Daehyun asked Yongguk to take him home.
"You sure your going to be ok by yourself?" Yongguk asked once he parked in front of the apartment building.
"Why are we here? I want to go home." Daehyun questioned, a bit angry.
"I don't understand. Isn't this where your apartment is?" Yongguk didnt recall the younger moving out.
"I want to go home, Yongguk. Take me home!" Daehyun yelled, getting upset over the small issue. Well, not small to him.
"Tell me the address then." Yongguk said calmly.
"You've already been there. You came and visited Youngjae and I all the time there. How do you not remember?" Daehyun glared at the elder, waiting for him to drive off. After hearing Youngjae's name, Yongguk got what the younger meant.
"Ok. Ok. Sorry, I forgot for a second." Yongguk drove off, heading towards Youngjae's house. Once there, Yongguk stopped and watched his friend get out of the car, slamming the door behind him. Yongguk got out too, catching up to the younger. "Here." Yongguk handed over his key to the house that Youngjae had given him.
"Thanks." Daehyun grumbled, unlocking the door and marching in.
"Are you sure you'll be ok?"
"For Christ Sake's Yongguk, I am not two years old! I can take care of myself!" Yongguk just stood, staying calm, as the younger stood staring at him with a pissed off face and his hands clenched tightly together. After a few minutes of silence, Daehyun fell to his knees, crying. Yongguk walked over to his friend, slowly getting on his knees, and pulling him into his arms. "I'm... I'm so sorry!" Daehyun cried.
"Shhh... it's ok." Yongguk cooed, rubbing the younger's back. They stayed like that for over thirty minutes, only moving when Daehyun's stomach growled. "I'll make you something to eat." Daehyun only nodded, but it made Yongguk happy to know his friend was rejecting food.
"Yongguk..." Daehyun said quietly, getting up and following the elder into the kitchen. "What about Yiwang?"
"Junhong and I will take care of her. You won't have to worry about it." Daehyun looked down.
"But... she's my child." Yongguk stopped what he was doing, getting out pots for some ramen, and turned towards the younger.
"Would you like to talk to her?" Yongguk asked, digging into his pants for his phone and going through his contacts until he reached Junhong's name. Daehyun nodded, taking the phone from the elder and hitting the talk button. It rang a few times, before a perky voice came through.
"Gukkie! How are you? How's Daehyun doing? I hope he's ok, because I would hate for him to be so depre-"
"Hi Junhong..." Daehyun interrupted the younger, who could talk for hours.
"Oh, hello hyung! How are you?" Daehyun ignored the question, since he really didn't know the answer nor did he want to think about it.
"Can... Can I talk to Yiwang?" He asked.
"Sure! Just a second. Yiwang!" There was a silent pause, but Daehyun could hear running feet. "Daddy is on the phone."
