Daehyun was confused on a couple of the chapter titles, but didn't think too much about it. No matter how bad he wanted to skip ahead and read the more dramatic parts of his relationship. He turned to the first chapter, knowing the perfect details of their meeting, yet was curious about his ex's point of view.

Chapter 1: First Meeting

You'd think that meeting your soul mate would be a bit romantic, yet it was quiet the opposite for us. That's the jist of this story. Us. Him and I. Jung Daehyun and me. Yoo Youngjae and him. Get the point, yet?

Anyways, when I first met my other half, I kind of hated him. I was on a date with some guy a friend of mine set me up with. Daehyun happened to be our waiter. The guy I was sitting with, he was pretty much full of himself. His name was...

Kim Himchan, Daehyun knew that name. He hated that stupid jerk more than anything in world for the way he treated his boy-... the way he treated Youngjae. Daehyun rolled his eyes and kept reading.

His name was Kim Himchan. He was a model for some stupid magazine I could care less about. He was a few years older than I was and like I said before, full of himself. He was the perfect image of a spoiled brat.

At times when I tried to tell him a little about myself, he would either be looking somewhere else or playing on his phone. I know he wasn't listening to me, but I kept talking. It helps past the time, talking. Or in my sense now, writing.

Back to the point, Himchan didn't care about me and I knew he had better things to do. So why was he here with me? He told me, you know. He interrupted my story about... hmmm... something unimportant I presume. I think I was telling him about how good of a singer I was; yeah that's it!

Daehyun stopped reading, taking a second to reflect on Youngjae's writing. He's a better singer. He continued, nonetheless.

I had just told him I was a good singer, when he leaned over the table and said something that made me feel dirty. Worse than a 4 year old playing in a mud puddle for an hour.

"I also heard you where good in bed." That sentence had me frozen for minutes. The minutes that weren't wasted by the waiter who happened to hear Himchan's remark. Soon, a drenched Himchan sat across from me.

Daehyun giggled, remembering that he had poured the pitcher full of water onto the selfish boy. One glance at Youngjae had made his heart beat faster and hearing that he loved to sing like he did, had him floating on cloud nine. He then wanted to hear the voice and was hoping his date would ask him to sing, but he didn't. He said something that pissed Daehyun off. So he took action.

I was pissed, very pissed. Even though my date humiliated me, it was still inappropriate for some random guy to do that. I stood up and yelled at him, hoping to get him in trouble. He looked rather shocked that I was actually mad at him.

"Why the fuck did you do that to my date?"

"Did you really enjoy being told that he heard you where good in bed? I'm sorry that I think you look like you're more than just a good fuck." I watched as he walked away. I turned back to Himchan, who didn't look to pleased.

"You better be good at sucking dick, because this shirt was very expensive." I nodded my head, feeling totally pathetic. But maybe this could turn out to be a good thing? What did I know?

"You seriously going to leave with that guy?" The waiter, his nametag said Daehyun, said quietly behind me.

"Why do you care? You don't know me." I spat back.

"And he does?" He had a point, but at that time I just wanted to get away.

"Fine, I'll go home alone." As much as Himchan and my friend, who set me up with the very rude man, was mad at me, I wasn't going to end my night with a guy shoving his dick down my throat. So oddly enough, I took the waiter's advice.

A week went by before I had met him again. He wasn't my waiter this time, but he kept glancing at me while I was out to eat with my best friend, Jongup. I think he was listening for another rude comment to leave my supposedly "date's" mouth, but Jongup was just a friend. Did Daehyun know that?

Nope. I didn't know that Jongup was Youngjae's friend at that time. I have to admit I was pretty jealous too and I was trying to see if the short, happy boy was going to mess up so I could help again, but he didn't. They were a perfect couple and I hated it.

I could tell Daehyun wasn't very happy, especially when Jongup and I were laughing and having such a great time. I felt bad for torturing the poor boy, but Jongup was my friend.

"Excuse me, uh Daehyun?" Jongup called the waiter over, reading his nametag to know who he was.

"Is there something I can get for you?" The bitter tone in Daehyun's voice was obvious, but Jongup is a pretty oblivious person.

"Can I get another coke?" I still can't believe Jongup's smile didn't cure Daehyun's bad mood. It's what Jongup was good for.

"And can I have some cheesecake?" I watched as his eyes grew wide and curious as he turned towards me, with a smile I might add.

"Of course! What kind would you like?" His voice was livelier as he spoke to me.

"What do you recommend?"

"Well, the chocolate one is pretty good, but the strawberry one is divine. It's one of my favorite." I could tell he was practically begging me to pick his favorite.

"Then I'll take the strawberry one." So I did. After the smile on his face throughout the whole night, and the really wide grin I got after I took a bite and said I loved it, I decided that I wanted to come back and see him again and again. Until one night, I wanted something more...

Daehyun stopped, feeling confused by the sudden ending. Shrugging, he glanced at the clock and deemed he would try to sleep again. It didn't take him long to fall asleep, with a smile on his face and the memory of the many nights Youngjae visited him at his job.
