Daehyun awoke to his phone's alarm he normally had set. He looked over at his clock, seeing that it was twelve in the afternoon.

Wait, what?!?!

Daehyun hurriedly got ready, tripping over himself while trying to pull his pants up. He raced to the bathroom and scrubbed his teeth, running his fingers through his hair. Daehyun tried to ignore the need to pee, but after a few minutes of pain, he ran back to the bathroom and emptied himself. After zipping his pants back up, he made his way back to his bedroom, grabbing his phone and checking to see that he had four missed calls from his boss and a text message from his friend Yongguk. He was about to check his voicemails, when his phone started to ring again. It was his boss.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to oversleep, I will be there in about 10 minutes. Don't fire me!" Daehyun answered, in a panicked voice. Let's just say this wasn't the first time he was late to work.

"Daehyun calm down. I figured you were still asleep, but I still tried to reach you. I was just letting you know that we are closing down today. You should probably look outside." With a quick apology and a thanks, Daehyun hung up and walked over to his window. Removing the curtain, his eyes widen to see the ground covered in a thick blanket of snow.

It's only the middle of October; snow already?

Daehyun shrugged, decided to slip back into his pajamas after a long hot shower. As he was in the shower, his mind began to wonder and just like it has for the passed couple days, his thoughts were about the blonde kid he was in love with for six months. Even though he shouldn't, Daehyun wanted to read the book, because quite frankly he had forgotten about why he had broken up with the younger. All the chapters he's read so far were pretty good memories, minus the fight one, but it could have been worse.

Daehyun's thoughts are interrupted by a growling coming from his stomach. He quickly rinses his body and hair and gets out. He dries off before throwing on some comfy, grey sweat pants and a black wife beater. He stops and grabs the book off his night stand, before making his way into the kitchen. He sets the book down on the counter and takes out a pan, filling it with water and setting it on the stove. He turns the burner on high and waits to let the water boil, before setting some noodles into it.

Once the noodles are soft enough, Daehyun pours the most of the water out, but leaving a little at the bottom. He then pours the food into a bowl, before adding a little beef flavoring and using the extra water to stir it around. After a few stirs, Daehyun deems the noodles perfect and goes to the table to eat. He reaches over to grab the book on the counter, setting it next to him before taking a few bites.

The brunette was about to open the book to read the next chapter while he ate, when the sound of someone knocking on his door echoed throughout his apartment. He sighed, standing up and walking over to the door. He rolled his eyes as he saw who it was through the peep hole.

"What do you want, Yongguk?" He asked once the door was opened. He let his friend inside, not wanting any of the cold to enter his warm apartment and waited for an answer.

"Is that any way to great your friend?" Daehyun shrugged, walking back to the kitchen, as Yongguk chuckled. "So I heard you ran into Jongup at the park yesterday." Daehyun furrowed his eyebrows.

"Who did you hear that from?" Yongguk walked into the kitchen and sat down across from the younger.

"Who do you think? Junhong. He tells me everything." Daehyun rolled his eyes, leave it to that kid to open his big mouth.

"Of course. How are you two doing by the way?" Daehyun started to eat again, not even caring that he didn't offer Yongguk any.

"What do you mean?" Yongguk blushed.
