How did this happen?

After party

As soon as the walked in the door they were greeted with "congratulations" from everyone.
Maura was still in awe with Frankie. She still had that sparkle in her eye every time she talked to him or someone mentioned his name to her.

The night went on and it was time for their first dance. They got up on the floor and danced together.
Frankie sang in Mauras ear "wise men say...only fools rush in...but I can't help falling in love with you.." He smiled.
"You sing?" Maura smiled.
"Better than you." He said laughing.
"Way better." Maura said pulling a way from his neck. "I love you." She said kissing him.
"I love you too Maura." Frankie said after pulling away from the kiss.

As the night went on everyone started to get a little tired. It was coming up to 2 am.
"Time for our last dance." They all heard.
It wasn't a slow song more of a happy upbeat song, they all dance.
When the song finished everyone wished Maura and Frankie congratulations again and off they went.
Maura and Frankie got home that night and finally made love to each other as a married couple.

~Two days later~

They were standing  at the door with passports in hand. They were only going away for five days, yet it was still their honey moon.
"Bye haven!! Mommy loves you!" Maura said bending down in white jeans and a black and white striped top. Haven ran into her arms "no!!" She was crying, not wanting both her parents to leave her.
"We'll be back soon, I promise." Maura said kissing her. Next, Frankie bent down in jeans and a t-shirt.
"I'll see you in five days mini Maura." Frankie winked. Over the last few months Haven had become more like Maura.
He gave her a kiss and stood up.
Himself and Maura walked out of the house, one of Frankies hands on the small of her back.
"I'm excited to go to Italy. Are you?" Maura said looking up at Frankie with her perfect smile.
"Five days with a talking Google? By myself? How could I survive?" He joked.
"I'm kidding Maura, of course I'm excited. Five days in Italy with my wife. What more could I want?"

They boarded the plane and soon enough landed in Italy. They made their way to Rome, where they would spend the next five days at.

/day one\
"Frankie,baby wake up." Maura shook Frankie to wake him up. "It's time to go out."
Frankie got up and dressed then headed out with Maura at his side.

"Maura, now that the wedding is over, we can still keep trying right?"
"Of course." Maura said walking into a small café.

The day went on and it was 9pm in Italy so that meant it was 3pm back home.
Maura rang Jane to see how everything was going.

The rest of the trip was just sight seeing and spending time with each other.
They were boarding the plane when Maura heard her name being called.
"Maura!!" She turned around and there stood Constance.
"Mother.. What are you doing here?"
"I was in Italy, what are you doing here?"
"We are just leaving to go back home after our honeymoon." Frankie said pulling Maura closer.
"Oh yes! The wedding! Sorry I couldn't make it dear! You know how busy I get."
"Yeah..I know." Maura said with tears filling her eyes.
"Flight 248" was called out on loudspeaker.
"Well that's our flight, it was nice seeing you Mrs Isles." Frankie said with his charming smile.
"You too, Maura...Frankie."
"Bye Constance." Maura said turning around and walking off to catch her flight.

They got onto their plane.
"Frankie, I can't wait to be an aunt again."
"You excited for Emma?"
"Yes, yes I am. I can't wait to see her." Maura said laying her head on his shoulder.
"Maybe Jane will be like you and not let you hold her." Frankie joked kissing the top of her head.
"Mhm.." She closed her eyes.

Back in Boston Jane and Angela were minding Haven.
"Haven, mommy and daddy are on the way home now! They should be here soon!" Jane said to Haven.
"Dada?" She said smiling up at her.
"Yes." Just as she said that Maura and Frankie walked through the door.
"Mama!! Dada!!" Haven said running over to them.
They both bent down and hugged her.
"I missed you so much princess." Frankie said kissing her head.
"Me..too" haven was trying with some of her words, being mauras daughter helped.
"Mama..sad?" Maura has tears again, she has happy to see her daughter at home..but then she remembered about Constance.
"No baby girl.. I'm not sad. I'm happy to see you that's all!" She said hugging her tighter.

The rest of the night  Maura and Frankie told Jane and Angela about Italy. Maura and Jane went to the kitchen to get some snacks.

"Jane, Constance was at the airport when we left."
"What did she say?"
"She said that she was too busy to come to the wedding and that she was sorry." Maura said tearing up again.
"You believe that?"
Maura shrugged. "I'm used to it."
"But you shouldn't be maur. At lease now you have Frankie and all of us." Jane said pulling get into a hug.
"Thankfully I have you's."

"I'm going up to bed. That honeymoon has tired me out." Maura said winking at Frankie.
"Not in front of Ma, Maura!" Jane shouted.
"Sorry,sorry. Goodnight all." Maura said kissing both Maura and Angela on the cheek and Frankie on the lips.

An hour later Jane left and Angela went into the guest house.
Frankie walked up the stairs to find Maura in one of his old t-shirts and a pair of shorts. He got changed and climbed into the bed. Pulled her into his arms, kissed the top of her head and whispered "I love you so much Maura Isles-Rizzoli." Before drifting of to sleep.

They were woke up the next day by Haven shouting out "Dada" at the top of her lungs at 5 am. Frankie went and got her, brought her into their room.
"Mama sleepy?"
"Very sleepy, princess. It is five am. Go back to sleep."
"Otay dada." She said before cuddling into Frankie and Maura.

When they finally woke up all together they decided to have a family day before Frankie and Maura both went back to work.
They day was good, movies after movies. Games. Then finally they tried talk to her about having another brother or sister.
She was very excited.

"I love you's both." Frankie said.
"I love you too." Maura said looking at him in awe then kissed him.
"No mama!" Haven said getting up and pushing her away.
Frankie laughed.
"She prefers me." He said sticking out his tongue. "I'll cut that off Francesco."
"Oh. Maura Dorothea Isles Rizzoli, will you actually?"
"Maybe not today Frankie.." Maura laughed, coming closer to them. Frankie pulled her closet so her head was on his shoulder and Haven was sitting on his lap.

That's how their night ended before it all went back to reality, sitting their watching Beauty and the beast.
