"Maura" Jane said coming in the door, her very pregnant stomach showing.
"She's getting dressed, Janie." Frankie said popping his head up.
"Okay. I'll wait here." Jane said sitting down on the chair, she was due in two days. She shouldn't be walking around so much.

Maura walked down the stairs with Haven on her hip.
"Hey Jane." She smiled, putting Haven down.
"Maura! I need to talk to you!" She said looking at her.
Maura gave Frankie a look.
"I'm bringing Haven out for a walk." And he left.

"Maura. Casey is coming home and wants to help out with Emma. I don't know what to do."
"Jane, you have to do what is right for you. If you think the best thing for you and Emma is letting him back into your life, then do it."
"Okay, thank you Maura."
"Anytime, that's what friends are for." Maura said sitting down beside her best friend.

"So how are you?" Jane asked curiously.
"I'm good." Maura answered, they've been waiting for Jane to pop any minute now. "Have you got everything ready for little em?" Jane nodded.

Jane stood up "I'm going to bathroom maur-" Jane said looking down at her feet.
"I either just pissed myself or my waters broke." Jane said laughing nervously.
"Jane" Maura said looking at her. "Your waters broke. Car! Now!"

They made it to the car, Maura driving to the hospital.
They reached the hospital and Maura brought Jane in.

Maura talked for a while before Jane went in.

Maura called Angela and the rest of them before holding Janes hand through the next eight hours.

~eight hours later~
Maura walked out to people.
"She's here!" She said smiling with her big white smile.
"Janes resting right now but you's can come see Emma." Maura said walking over to Frankie.

Angela went to go to see Jane and Emma while Maura and Frankie sat talking with Haven.

"Doctor isles" Maura heard and looked up.
"Casey, hello." She said standing up and shaking his hand.

"Is she here?" She nodded.
"Does Jane even want you here?" Frankie scoffed.
"I don't know, but I have a right to see my daughter."
Frankie tried to walk towards him but Maura stopped him.
"Her room number is 685, Charles." They heard Angela say.

Casey walked to Janes room and walked in.
"Jane.." He began.
She looked up.
"Casey, no. You are not getting full custody over OUR daughter. We either raise her together or we co-parent, simple as."
Casey smiled, he knew having a baby wouldn't change her.
"I came back to be with you Jane. I came back for you and Emma, speaking of, where is she?"
"She's in her incubator." Jane smiled.

A few hours had passed and Maura came into Janes room.
"Jane-" she was cut off by the sight of Jane and casey sleeping.
As much as she didn't like casey she was happy to see Jane happy, she walked over to Emma and peered in.
"You're going to have the best parents in the world em, trust me. Your mother may be a bit loopy at times but she'll be the best." And with that Maura left and went home with her family.

"I'm happy Janes happy." Frankie said handing Maura a cup of tea.
"Me too, I just wish this had happened sooner."
"What casey coming home?" Maura nodded sipping her tea. "It's the happiest I've seen her."
"Me too" Frankie said in agreement, pulling Maura into a hug.

The next few weeks went on, Jane and casey had worked things out and everyone was happy. Jane was home with Emma. She was happy to finally be a mom.

Maura was at Janes, "so any luck with trying for baby number two?" Jane asked.
Maura shook her head.
"Nothing."
"I'm sure it'll happen soon." Jane said playing with Emma.
"Hopefully."

After Janes Maura went to the store a picked up a test, after Jane had Emma she completely forgot.
She got home and took the test.

'Negative' it read. Maura was sad, they had been trying for a while but nothing so far. She kept thinking about the worst, what if it was her?
As the day went on she kept thinking about the negative test. Until she saw Frankie and her face lit up.
It was still like they were just in love.

"Frankie I took a test again."
Frankie looked at her "and?"
"It was negative" she said on the verge of tears.
Frankie pulled her close and whispered
"It'll be okay baby, I promise. Everything happens for a reason."
