You turned over in your bed as your phone began to go off. Confused, you looked to see who it was. You squinted your eyes and looked at the screen noticing that it was your boyfriend, Reece, calling you at two in the morning. "Hello?" you answered groggily in a tired voice. "Babe!" he said a little too cheerfully into the phone making you pull it back a little. "Yes?" "Let's go somewhere," he said. You looked over at your alarm clock again, "Reece, do you realize that it's two in the morning?" He chuckled from the other line, "Yes, Y/N. Now be ready in ten," he said before hanging up. You shook your head at your boyfriend, but got out of bed and slipped on a pair of leggings and a sweatshirt. Sure enough, ten minutes later Reece pulled up into your driveway. You climbed into the car and looked over at Reece, who had a grin on his face. "Where are we going?" you asked him as he began to drive. He smirked, "That's a surprise." The car ride was filled with silence, except the low hum of the radio in the background as Reece held your hand tightly. Every once in a while, he'd kiss it lightly making you smile. He eventually pulled up into a grass field, leaving you confused. You raised your eyebrows at him as he climbed out of the car. You followed him slowly and saw that he was grabbing blankets from the backseat. He found a spot on the grass as he spread out a large blanket for the both of you to lay on. "Come on," he said as he extended his hand towards you. You took it as he pulled you down with him until you were both lying down together. You looked up in awe as you saw the sky above you covered in beautiful, bright stars. "It's beautiful," you said quietly to Reece as he looked over at you. You looked at him and blushed as you noticed him staring. "You're beautiful," he said. You grinned over at the boy in front of you and kissed him gently. "I love you, Reece," you said as he interlocked your fingers with his. "I love you more." You sighed in content as you leaned your head on his chest, listening to the sound of his heartbeat as the sky lit up for the both of you.
