Growing up with George Smith as your brother had its perks, but also its downfalls. One being, you were constantly bullied at school. Of course it was not his fault, you loved your brother to death and because of this, you never said a word to him about it. You had a few friends, but sometimes you wondered if they were only there because your brother was famous. Today, however, had been the worst it's ever been. A girl at your school had straight up told you to your face that you were the untalented one in your family and that you had no purpose there. To make it worse, the entire school at lunch had heard her and laughed at you until you were in tears running out of the building. You chose to walk home today instead of facing more people on the bus, and of course it began to pour rain. You didn't even try to get out of it, you just walked home as the rain blocked out the sound of your sobs. As you walked up to the driveway, you saw Reece and Blake's cars in the driveway, making you pray that they wouldn't see you like this.
George's POV
I was laughing around with the boys on the couch as we were rehearsing earlier that day. I heard the door open, signaling that my sister was home from school. We all turned towards the door and there she stood. She was soaking wet with her makeup running down her face as her bottom lip quivered. Her eyes were red and swollen as I knew she was crying. "Y/N," I said as I shot up from my seat. "I can't do it, George," she whispered as her voice broke before her knees gave out from beneath her body. I caught her before she fell as she clutched onto me for life, her body shaking with sobs. "Hey, hey," I whispered as I soothed her back and moved the hair out of her face. I picked her up in my arms before carrying her over to the couch. "Boys, get ice cream and a pair of my sweats and one of my shirts," I ordered them as they nodded and hurried off. I wrapped Y/N in a huge blanket as she sniffled. I sat down beside her and pulled her over to me. "What happened?" I asked her quietly as tears formed in her tired eyes again. "They all hate me," she cried, "They bully me." "What? Who?" I asked frantically wanting to know who the hell would hurt my sister. "Everyone, George! They tell me that I'm so untalented compared to you and that I have no purpose here and what if they're right, George?" she said in between sobs. I automatically tensed up and turned to her as I grabbed her hands in mine. "Don't you dare think that, Y/N. You are so talented, smart, and beautiful and you have every reason to be here, you hear me? I need you here, you're everything to me," I said looking at her. It broke my heart to know that she was hurting this entire time and I didn't even know. "I love you, George," she said into my chest and she hugged me. I kissed her forehead, "I'm always here for you." Just then, Blake and Reece came running down the stairs with ice cream, all different sweets, a change of clothes for Y/N, and a pile of blankets and movies. "Don't worry, we're here to the rescue!" they yelled as Y/N cracked a smile. The rest of the day was full of cuddles, movies, and snacks as I'd do anything to make my sister happy again.
