So, I've been practicing making illustration sketches since yesterday. I must say, it's hard to read a book then draw what you read. It takes a lot of imagination and creativity. So, here's my second try.
Safirah and Miraak perching above a boulder amidst the pineforest, Safirah's wearing her iron armour and red scarf. For those who read The Ire of Winter, I hope you can relate. 😄

My sketchpad is small, I can't make Safirah's face more detailed. I wish I had space for the dragon too. Anyway, I'll try draw a full size dragon next time.
