Stevie was still reeling from her conversation with Lindsey. Things had just infinitely gotten more complicated. The fate of her entire family rested with a 12 year old? OK, maybe that was a bit dramatic, but all the same, whether or not her son's heart was broken did depend on his 12 year old half-brother, how could she not be a little worried?

When she arrived back home she went from room to room turning off all of the lights before going to peek at Grayson sleeping. It wasn't hard when you looked at him to guess who his father was. She would do anything to protect him, at any cost, just as she had done 6 years ago when she begged Lindsey to sign over his parental rights. Now, knowing his relationship with Mick, she knew it had been the right decision, no matter how much it had hurt her to do it. She wasn't sure how she was going to break this news to Mick, but when she walked into her room, the light was off and she could hear Mick quietly snoring and breathed a sigh of relief. She'd at least be able to put it off until the morning. She walked into her closet and changed into a gown and then went to lay at Mick's side. She felt him stir and immediately stiffened hoping he'd go back to sleep.

"Hey baby..." he started when she immediately cut him off with a searing kiss, climbing up onto his body straddling his middle. She kissed down his chest and he was immediately responsive, his hands roaming over her body and she quickly found her nightgown removed. She worked with extra intensity, trying to bring him to so much pleasure he would forget about asking her about tonight's conversation. She knew he was close when he flipped them over and began slamming against her making her cry out in pain and pleasure.

"Don't stop." She insisted and within a minute she was crying out for him with him almost simultaneously collapsing on her chest.

"So, it was that bad?" he finally asked her when they caught their breath.

"What? No, it was amazing."

"No, I meant the meeting with Lindsey. It had to have been for you to jump me before I got two words out. What happened? You know you can tell me and no matter what I will try to be understanding."

"What does that even mean Mick? It better not mean what I think you're trying to imply."

"Nothing, never mind. Why the meeting?" he asked, knowing better than to draw her ire.

"You remember me telling you about the fight that I had with Lindsey a few days ago about staying away from Grayson?"

"Yes. What does that have to do with anything? He wants to be in his life now? That's ridiculous, I'm Grayson's father, Stevie. I hope you told him that."

"Mick can you just shut up and listen for two seconds? He said nothing of the sort. His son, William, heard us talking. He knows Lindsey is Grayson's biological father. He says he won't tell Gray because he doesn't want to hurt him, but..."

"There's always a but. Why does there even have to be a but here?"

"ANYWAY, he wants to meet Liliana. That's the conditions. He never mentions this to Gray as long as he gets to meet Liliana."

"This is preposterous. I hope you said no, Stevie. We're going to let a 12 year old boy dictate our lives?"

"I most certainly did not say no. If this is what I need to do to keep my son protected then you better damn well know that that is what I'm going to do. They're coming over on Saturday." She said with finality.

"And what if the boy gets too attached to Lily and Gray? What if Lindsey decides that he made a mistake? What then Stevie?"

"Will you stop worrying about Lindsey? He signed his rights away years ago Mick. He can't take that back. You are legally Gray and Lily's father. As far as William goes, well, I'm not sure. He's already attached to Grayson. We just have to hold them off until the end of the school year and then we'll make the move."

"Do you really think that this is going to work?"

"I don't know Mick, really I don't. All I can do is hope for the best."
