Mr. Dragneel pushes us inside the big mansion, and waves around the gigantic space that looks like a million of my houses can fit into. I know right? It's that big. There's a main floor, which we're standing on right now, then there's the big double staircase that leads up to the next level of the house in-front of us.

I haven't been here for a long time. I inhale some of the smoky/ash smell, then exhale after I'm used to it. (Has anyone ever done that? Just curious...) Then I look at the beautiful wooden piano that they must have gotten recently. It's gorgeous. Not a single visible fingerprint has touched the keys.

Natsu tugs on his side of the chain. "I wanna go play video games." He says, then adds on under his breath "Even though she sucks at them." and with that I tug on the chain. "Well I  want to go play piano." I shout back. "BORing" Says Natsu, who just tugs on the chain harder. It turns into tug of war. Sometimes my side is winning, sometimes Natsu's winning.

After a while, my arm feels like it's going to rip off and the cold metal I swear is going make a mark on my wrist. So I do a quick jerk with my hand and Natsu falls forward. "Ha! I win!" I shoot my free arm into the air. "It wasn't even a contest." He says. "Come on guys, take turns please." Says Mr. Dragneel who I totally forgot was standing behind us.

We turn to him. "Well Lucy DOES get to go first..." He says, drawing out the sentence. I literally drag Natsu to the piano and onto the bench. He looks as bored as ever already. "So first you pretend that you are holding a little golf ball in your hands, and you set your hand out like this." I make a  curved shape with my hand on the piano. "Who says I want to learn?" He asks stubbornly. "I do." I say. He sighs, defeated.

_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

"There." I say. I've just finished the song that we're going to play. He stares at my hands amazed but just tries to hide it by saying "Mmm." I roll my eyes. I grab his hand and he instantly pulls away. So I try again. I hold one of his warm fingers and place it on the key while it makes a beautiful sound.

"See." I say. The warm light dances across the glossy keys as I start to teach Natsu. The sunlight slowly fades away across the horizon. We hardly notice though. I feel the warmest I've ever felt in a long time. This feeling. What is this feeling? The feeling of being whole, and happy. Whatever it is, I love it.

"Master Natsu, your dinner is ready. As for you Madame." Says a maid. "Wow! the maids actually treat you like royalty!" I say, surprised. I've surely never got called Madame."Yep." He says plainly. We get up from the bench and walk into the giant green dining room. The wallpaper is avocado green, and the table in the middle is made out of dark polished wood. The seats are the same wood, but with green cushions and beautiful patterns carved into them.

I walk over to my chair, and when I'm about to pull it out another hand does. A slightly rough hand. Natsu's. He pulls out the chair with a look of uncomfort on his face and I sit down. "Thanks!" I say. I slightly blush. Then I realize that Natsu's mother isn't at the table. So I decide to ask, which was a really bad thing to do.

"Why isn't Mrs. Dragneel here?" I ask. Natsu chokes on the potatoes he's currently eating. Mr. Dragneel is the first to break the silence. "Oh, um, you don't know what happened?" A look of confusion crosses my face. "No..." I say. Natsu looks like he's about to snap in half. My handcuffed hand moves over to touch his, but he automatically pulls it away.

"Excuse me." He says, and totally forgets we're handcuffed together, so I drag along, spilling the water I was drinking all over my shirt. And my shirt is white. With a black bra underneath. Yeah. This was totally the best day to get my shirt spilled on and turn see-through. At the best moment. THANK YOU FOR RUINING MY LIFE YET AGAIN UNIVERSE!

"Natsu!" I shout. He drags me up the staircase witch really hurts my hips because the floor is wooden. We go all the way down the hall, my jeans sliding across the polished wood. "Ugh." We round the corner and go into what I think is Natsu's bedroom. Almost everything is red.

There's his cherry wood bed with red and white blankets. A red couch with a flat screen TV, a white dresser and a cherry wood bookcase. He sits down on the bed and I'm currently getting carpet burn. His head lands in his hand. I get up and sit next to him. "Hey, you okay?" I ask. "Shut up and leave me alone." I shut my mouth and sit next to him peacefully, the warmness of the evening slowly fading.

We sit there in silence, not a sound coming out of our mouths. "Natsu," I begin. He doesn't seem to push away my offer to talk. "I wanted to forgive you for earlier. I'm sorry I got all mad." I say, my eyes drifting over to his. "It wasn't your fault." He says. I almost die. My heart beats every millisecond. "What?!" I ask, out of breath. "I said it wasn't your fault."

"I know I heard you but-"

"You know, I'm not that bad." He says. I remember all of the times he tortured me to death. All those times that he hurt me so bad mentally. The times he told me to die. I wish I could unlock those handcuffs and run out of the room. Running from danger. Isn't that what your supposed to do?

"You are bad. You are the meanest person on planet earth yet I forgive you. I forgave you for everything. And now you tell me you're not that bad?! Shut up! I never want to hear the sound of your voice AGAIN!" I scream as loud as I can. "I-" "BE QUIET!!" I yell. We sit there, backs turned to each other. Until Natsu says something that shatters my heart into a million pieces.

"You know what?!I was just nice to you because I wanted to get out of these darn handcuffs. I want to get away from you so I don't have to see your ugly, stupid face. It hurts my eyes. I wish you could go rot somewhere else."

Then my sign of weakness comes rolling down my face. A single tear. I grab Natsu's hand with a tight grip this time a squeeze it. Where does my broken heart go?
