"Come on." I punch Natsu in the shoulder and get up. I will never give up till Natsu remembers everything. My heart's shattered, but the only glue is my wish. So I'm going to make it happen. "You're not sad?" He asks, staring up at me. "Not a bit." I say, then place a fake smile across my face. "I forgive you." I say.
"What?" He asks. I repeat what I just said. "Now c'mon, let's go do something." I say, pulling his hand. His eyes seem to light up, but then he says "Why would I want to do anything with you nerd?" That word again. I hate it. "Y'now, you could just call me Lucy." I snap back. "Ok Lushee." He says, trying to be mean, but whats ironic is that used to be my old nickname.
"Well you're coming with me whether you like it or not." I say. I have a plan. I pull him out of his room, down the hall, and to the big flat screen television. I pick up one of the games next to the screen and put it into the xbox console.
I hand Natsu a remote and then get myself one. The game we're playing is named Assignment Day, specially picked by me. We have to complete different tasks on an assignment board with our magic, and every one of those we do, we gain xp that moves us up different classes of wizards. Whoever gets to S class first wins.
I picked this because it's the game me and Natsu played as kids. I'm surprised they hadn't gotten rid of it. It's a really old game.
FLASHBACK
"I'm gonna win!" Natsu yells. I'm on my last life. His hands skid across the controller. "Fire Dragon Iron Fist!!" He yells, then my character dies. "Agh Natsuuu." I say, then set the controller on the yellow, plush chair that I was sitting on. "Lushee! Wait! Let's keep playing till you win!"
END OF FLASHBACK
"Why can't we play Call Of Duty or Mortal Kombat?" He asks, but then says "Oh yeah, she can't play them." loud enough for me to hear. I shoot him a look. We launch the game, then get to the game slot screen. My game slot was always 1, and his was 2. But when we got on the game I found that my game slot had changed to an avatar with short, white hair. Lisanna.
I added a new character while Natsu sat next to me, complaining. My character used the celestial power. I liked this power because you could spawn different astrology signs to fight for you. And just as I was literally about to click 'save' the screen goes black and the lights go out. Great. Power outage. I stand up.
Then I feel a pair of hands push me backwards into a really comfortable chair. I shake, so I grab onto the chair. It's surprisingly warm. I didn't know they had heated chairs. I'm terrified, so I hide my face into the chair. They must have scented chairs too because this one smells wonderful. The lights turn back on and my heart almost skipped a beat.
I look up at the top of the chair. Only, this isn't a chair. It's a boy. Our eyes hook because our faces are an inch apart. A little pink hits his cheeks. "Getting close?" Asks a voice behind me. I turn around and see Igneel. "IGNEEL!" I push him over, then attack him. Natsu finally realizes what happened, then snaps back to reality and helps me attack him.
I look over at him, and he's smiling. He's laughing. And it fills me with happiness too.
I start to laugh, and tickle Igneel to death with Natsu. "Okay! Okay!" Shouts Igneel. We all get up. "I just came in here to tell you that Virgo made cookies." Natsu bursts out of the room, going from the grand living room to the dining room, of course, he pulls me with him. "Ahhhhh!!" I yell as he pulls me downstairs. We get there in less than 15 seconds.
Natsu starts scoffing down chocolate chip cookies. In the process, he stuffs one into my mouth. "Eat Lucy." He says, then smiles. But I don't feel the taste of the cookie. I put another one in my mouth. Nothing. "Lucy." Says Mr. Dragneel. "Lucy." The voice morphs into a more teenage voice. I open my eyes and then see Natsu in-front of my face. "Lucy." He says.
"What?" I ask, realizing that it was all a dream. Imaginary steam shoots out of my ears. HOW COULD I EVEN DREAM THAT UP?!! "Thank god you're okay, my dad would kill me if you had died." Says Natsu. "What happened?" I sit up. "You tripped, then fell back, and you landed on the floor." "Oh." I say, rubbing my head. I get up and look him in the eyes. "What?"
"Nothing."
"I wanna go to bed." I say, all woozy. "Fine." He says. We go upstairs, and Natsu cuts his shirt in half. I look over and say "What the heck are you doing?" "Changing." He says. Now that I think about it, you cant really take your shirt off any other way because of the stupid chains. Then Igneel walks in the room.
"Boy, don't cut your clothing in half!" He says to Natsu. Then he pulls out a key. "Here, the principal said to use this for times when I need to use it. They also sent one to Mrs. Heartfelia." He says. That's right, he still doesn't know. Mr. Dragneel unlocks the handcuffs and slips them off. I grip my wrist.
"I'm finally free!" Yells Natsu. "Lucy, I'm sure Natsu could lend you a t-shirt and shorts." Says Mr. Dragneel, staring at Natsu. He hands me a t-shirt and I go down to change in the bathroom. When I come out, I go down the hall back into Natsu's room. The t-shirt is long enough to be a nightgown on me.
Mr. Dragneel places the handcuffs on us and then I hop into bed, sending Natsu there too. Natsu protests against the handcuffs until Mr. Dragneel turns off the light and leaves the room. Then he shuts the door. It's pitch black. And I am forced to be in a bed with none other than Natsu Dragneel in the middle of the night.
I wonder what could happen.
