Her rose colored hair that she so tediously combed to be tidy is ruffle and wild. Her body trembles terribly as her face is a ghostly white. The tears in her eyes could explain everything but they couldn't. Her hands tightly grips the edge of her skirt and a pink phone.

Takumi unsure why she's in such a state hurriedly walks over to her. The moment he is close enough Sakura leaps into his arms and tightly hugs him. Takumi is familiar to the act of comforting so he gently returns the hug and combs her short hair with his fingers. He wants her to feel safe so until she can calm down he will continue this. Hiccups escapes her lips as did her soft and sadden voice, "Big brother, it's Kamui."

Takumi tries to keep his voice soothing to not agitate her, "What about Kamui?"

"S-she called a-and she said that man came back. She said that he brought an accomplice and she could see them taking Mom away. Kamui said that she was with O-Orochi and that they're hiding from them. Orochi was beside her calling the police while they hid. B-but!" Sakura starts crying again and she will herself to finish, "But I think they were found when Kamui started coughing again. I heard them yelling in resistance, t-then silence was all I could hear after- Brother?"

A deep anger seep from Takumi's heart as he listens to Sakura. He already released her from his hold and clenches his fist. Sakura seems to notice the dark fury that comes from him and she steps back as she calls his name, "Takumi?"

"How long?" His words cold and hard as steel. Sakura eyes reflects the terrifying face Takumi is making but he doesn't notice. Again he asks, "How long ago was this?"

"T-ten minutes ago," Sakura hesitation is clear in trying to answer him. He didn't hear since his mind is laying out tactics and the fastest routes. In the midst of his anger he irrationally concludes he has to go now. No longer caring about his surroundings he runs to the window and opens it up. He place one foot up on the sill, looking down and already mapped the safest route to fall. Heck he is so mad that he'll still jump even if it is the Great Wall of China.

As he is about to jump out two pairs of arms wraps around him. Preventing him from completing his stunt. He growls and pulls forward. The side that Owain is holding done is weak compare to the side Leo is. Takumi knocks Owain down and pull forwards. Owain quickly gets up and persists in holding the silver haired boy down. Takumi struggles and Leo shouts, "Stop you idiot. You'll break your legs!"

Takumi barely able to rival the vampiric strength of the boy shrugs him off and growls, "Let go of me you bloody scum."

Leo snaps back, "No, you're scaring Sakura!"

At the mention of his sister's name Takumi steps down and looks over to her. He can see the fear welling up in her eyes. The cautious advancement she does to come closer and asks timidly yet without a single stutter, "Takumi calm down."

Takumi sighs, trying to create a facade of calmness, the anger in his heart is tuck away. That emotion is hiding under his softness for his little sister. A cruel fact hidden in his mask of a lie. His voice is even when he says, "Close the window. I'll stop."

The two teenagers let go of Takumi and Owain slides the window shut. Takumi apologizes, "Sorry Sakura. I wasn't thinking straight."

Sakura shakes her head and keeps her ground. The silence between them is clammy and suffocating. Leo sighs, "Instead of standing here how about speaking with the teachers to leave early."

Sakura nods at this idea and she leads the way with Takumi trailing behind. They soon bump into Mr. Yukimura who was looking for them. After he explained that the police were at their residents he had them leave school early.

Quickly Takumi and Sakura runs home, neither of them wavering from the terrifying thought of what could've happen. As the house appears in sight they both can see the red and blue lights blare off against the side of the walls. The closer they come the more they can feel their mind playing the possible scenario of the worst.

The only officer there is Azama, the same one from before. He looks indifferent at the sight of them and waves them over. He says with a slight cheer in his voice, "Oh good. People who live here is here."

Azama lazily strolls over to them and says, "We received a call about from someone getting attack in these residents... However I am unable to enter the property without permission and the door is jammed. There isn't much a weaponless guy like me would be able to do."

Takumi can't tell if this man is cautious or just plain lazy. He dismiss this thinking to turn his attention towards the door. The house itself looks completely unchanged except for a window but anything else would had convinced many that nothing is amiss. Takumi turns the heavily scratched doorknob and indeed notice that it is unlock. He pushes the door forward and confirms that it is indeed stuck.

Takumi looks over to Azama and ask, "Can you help me push it?"

Azama laughs at this and says, "I don't think we are able to use force."

However he comes close and position himself so he can charge at the door. Takumi also does the same and says, "On the three. One. Two. Three!"

They both charge and the moment before they hit the door Azama stops, leaving Takumi to slam on the door alone. The force of the charge Takumi created was strong enough to break the door down. The whole door falls from its frame and Takumi lands on top of it. His body is used to roughhousing but not his mentality. He looks up in anger and glares at the officer who is innocently smiling at him.

Sakura rushes over to Takumi to see if he is alright but stops in her tracks. Her mouth gapes at the sight of the interior. Takumi follows her gaze and also share her expression. Any anger, even the one from before, fades from Takumi's heart. The sight of the terribly disturbed place fills Takumi's body with a cold, suffocating dread.

Not even bothering to take his shoes off Takumi stands up and steps forward. The house doesn't have the slightest sign of intrusion. There isn't even a single piece of evidence telling him there was a struggle. It's like he return to a house where everyone left and are still out. This is a scenario he seen only a few times and those few times gave him the darkest missions.

"I-it couldn't be. Mother predicted this would happen," Sakura says in astonishment.

"Prediction..." Takumi whispers. When he was a child he would always remember how she manage to know everything, from the outcome of a game about luck, to when someone will fall ill or unfortunately gets hurt. Yes, he remembers, he remember how Mikoto begged his father to not leave the house despite a promise he made to Kamui to take her shopping for Mikoto's birthday present. However his father, Sumeragi, promised Mikoto he'll be cautious and takes Kamui out to the mall. Unfortunately there were gas explosions at the mall and the two of them were entrapped in the flames and the fallen debris of the building. Sumeragi protected Kamui from any harm as the rubble piled upon them. When they were found he had so many fatal wounds that it was a miracle he was still conscious and he used the last of his strength to push Kamui to the rescuers. However that action caused the fragile structure that delicately balanced on top of him to collapse and crushed his body, resulting his death.

"Sakura can you call Ryoma? We have to tell him about this," Takumi lets the words come out cold and he turns away from the scene of the crime. The only reason why the house was so cleaned is that the three women had surrender due to Mikoto advising them to. Or else, Takumi would've found a corpse and disorder in the house if she didn't. Takumi looks at Azama and says without a hint of panic, "They've been kidnap. Looking at the scene they were smart to not resist since it's likely they will die as a consequence for fighting."

"You're speaking as if you are awfully distant from them," Azama commented before reaching for his radio.

The raw feeling of his chuckles at Azama's words and Takumi says in a deadpan tone, "No. I've just figured out what I'm going to do."

Author's note:
Ooo, maybe we'll be getting some action soon. Oh! I'm sorry if there really isn't much Leo and Takumi moments in these past chapters, however I wanted a solid build in creation of this alternative universe I carelessly created.
