The Hunter and The Predator Leokumi

7|| Preparations

Ryoma appears almost immediately when Sakura called. His usual wild brown hair is styled in a more professional sense as the business suit he wears tells Takumi that he came straight from work. Takumi notice that he recently received a haircut since it's shorter. The pose Ryoma presents is dignify and proper however a deep tension is naturally created from the man's face and body.

Then Hinoka comes shortly after as she had return from other duties as a police officer. Due to regulations she is unable to partake in the investigation so she appears under the title of family. She too is still wearing her work clothes. As said the police are investigating the house for any clues the kidnappers left and the four of them, Takumi, Sakura, Hinoka, and Ryoma are standing on the front lawn.

"Are you guys alright? Do you need to talk about it?" Hinoka says with an attempt to act gentle but it fails. Sakura and Takumi both shakes their heads in response. Ryoma follows up, "You two won't be able to stay here. It's best that you stay at our places. Sakura at Hinoka's and Takumi at mines."

Sakura nods at this and Takumi asks, "Will they allow us to get our belongings? I hardly doubt the kidnappers snooped around."

Hinoka stays silent at his words and exhales a sigh before turning to walk away. With a determine voice she says, "I'll try to see what I can do."

As the red haired woman walks away Ryoma keeps his eyes on Takumi. Takumi notice his stare and returns it with his amber ones. Ryoma remains quiet but his eyes look like he wants to say something and Takumi could only ponder what it is. They only break contact when one of the officers come to them.

"Is something the matter, officer?" Ryoma inquires with folded arms, putting a crease on his jacket. The officer looks at all of them and explains, "We are allowing the residents to take belongings only from their room. Unfortunately we swept the house throughly and found only little, thus we conclude that the action of taking something that has little to do with the scene will not tarnish the investigation. In other words they are free to enter but we ask that they try their best not to disturb anything."

Ryoma nods in affirmation to the officer's words, "Thank you... Takumi, Sakura, go grab what you need. For the other necessities we'll buy afterwards."

Takumi and Sakura quickly enter the house and separate from the other to pack. Fortunately no one is observing Takumi as he pulls out his tools. There's only a few things he is able to take since Ryoma is watching him closely. However what he plans to do tonight does not allow him to take the bare necessities. The reality that Takumi knows is that he is under a limited amount of time. As he thinks this he cleverly hides all his weapon and gear in the hidden compartments in his small duffel bag and black backpack. Then with great skill manage to fold a week worth of clothing between the two luggage. Though he boldly choose to carry his bow in its hard case as it's impossible to discreetly hide it. He knows full well that Ryoma may question his actions but he already has an explanation to cover his reasons.

Taking care that he hasn't left anything essential behind he leaves his room to find Sakura having trouble bringing her suitcase down the stairs. Without even saying a single word he lifts her large suitcase with one arm and carry on to the entrance. Takumi can hear her say, "Thank you Big brother!" From behind him, even so he says nothing and walks outside. He can see that Hinoka is pulling up a car as Ryoma stands, waiting for them. All the other police officers had left and he can see yellow tape to ward off other in place.

Takumi doesn't recognize the car but he assumes that's how she got here. Ryoma walks over and offers to take the bags from him but Takumi walks pass him to Hinoka already opening the trunk. With little effort he lightly place the luggage into the trunk. Hinoka raises an eyebrow at the hard case being put in her car and ask, "Do you really need that?"
