"So mind telling me why we are out here?" Takumi immediately says the moment his companion takes a seat next to him. The wooden bench creak under their weight as if threatening to collapse. However both of them know that it won't, regardless what happens to it.

They chose to meet in the forest part of the park for less bystanders. The sky is already dark and the metal lamp lights seen from where they are are flickering. The trees had already shed their leaves and the nocturnal animals are quiet due to the two's presence. It may be dark to the average human eyesight but to them it was as clear as a day with cloudy skies.

Leo could only laugh at the other and asks, "Quit whining you baby. Did you eat yet?"

"Do you even know what time it is? Of course I ate," Takumi states in a matter of fact tone.

"Oh," Leo mumbles before proceeding to click his tongue and shove something inside his coat. Takumi catches sight of his actions and quickly grabs hold of Leo's arm to stop him. His grip is firm on Leo and demonstrates the power that backs his title.

"What do you have there?" Takumi breathes in a low voice as an illusion of distrust is blended into his words. His amber eyes glint an unnatural light when they stare straight into the blond's umber orbs. Takumi can feel an unease in the other as they try to brush him off. If it isn't his imagination he can feel Leo's heart speeding up its pace. Suddenly his lips perks up with a hint of mirth.

Not taking a chance to consider why Leo is acting this way he lunges forward. Mimicking how a snake hunts for prey Takumi overpowers the unsuspecting vampire and constricts his movements. Then he slithers a hand into under Leo's beige coat to pull it out the mystery item.

It was a metallic cylinder container. Takumi unsaddles the victim and inspects it closer. Leo hurriedly reaches for it and growls, "Hand that over now!"

"Quit whining you baby. Did you not eat yet?" Takumi taunts Leo with the same words he said earlier then continues, "This is warm, uh, Leo you know that your blood is spoiled right?"

Leo has words of displeasure written everywhere on his face, a first for Takumi to be able to read his face so clearly.

"Who said that it was meant for me?" The blond spats and readjusts his clothing. Sitting back up, he folds his arms and crosses his leg in irritation. "Go on. Open it."

Takumi gingerly uncap the container and could feel the warm air already seeping from it. The strong scent of herbs hits his nose and tells him what they are. "This couldn't be... Beef stew?!"

"Which I made in fact," Leo adds and surprises Takumi even more. It's uncommon for a vampire to know how to cook despite having the same sense of taste like humans. Human food just doesn't have enough nutritional value to be consider a healthy diet for vampires. Thinking this Takumi couldn't help but smile at a realization; Leo cooked for him. However, this isn't good for his heart if he misreads on why the vampire did this.

He close the container and sets it down on his lap. The smile on his lips leave all too soon and hardens to a straight line. An action similar to a sigh leaves his mouth before asking the other without turning to face them, "There was something else you wanted to talk about, right? Why else would we meet in a place like this?"

"I wanted us to be alone Takumi," Leo whispers. The vampire creeps closer so the other can hear.

Hearing his name in such a misleading sentence feels even more electrifying than before. The way Leo's voice makes a cold chill run down his spine and intensifies the heat inside him is no joking matter right now. Not even the cold season can cool off the passionate ideas in Takumi's head of what they can do alone together. He has to stop before he makes this awkward, but being in close-proximity isn't helping.
