He pushes her out of the way and unfortunately takes her place. The sensation of the metal breaking skin is numbing. This is a moment he would have growl a word of discomfort if only he didn't take that breath to disarm his attacker.

Then in a blink of an eye the bang that will start the night prematurely fires. It caused a vampire's feast to bloom and drip.

Their eyes made contact for a brief moment before disconnecting. Within that moment a tremendous amount of dialogue was unspoken between the two as they stood. The blond nonchalantly adjusted his tie and return his sister's inquiry, "He's just a bodyguard, keeping things in check."

His words were to persuade her into the idea that Garon had hired a hand to prevent Leo from drinking. Takumi watched her purple lashes lower with her eyebrows before raising them in a cheerful mood. "Come now dear Leo, he doesn't need to be so near during a party."

Basically, she was attacking the public purpose of the "bodyguard" to help create distance between him and Leo. It must be her crafty way of trying to get Leo a chance to sip some blood. Takumi knew how to play this game. He daringly uses his eyes to glance at Garon once she looks at him. A smirk was suppressed once he saw a slight bob of her throat from swallowing.

She quickly followed up by folding her arms beneath her well-endowed bosom and smile. Her voice was sultry as it was quiet, "Now I look at him, he is quite the man. Clean, lightly built and beautiful amber eyes. Rare when paired with glossy black hair."

"Please don't go putting my bodyguard on your radar as well." Leo sighed as he showed a face of tiredness. In reality, he was being protective.

Camilla crept right next to Leo and tap her round hip against his and lean close, "Not 'the' but 'yours'?"

"As much as I love to entertain you with your antics I believe that's too much love being shown, Camilla," Leo's face was tight with irritation as he looked around the hall for any straying eyes. Takumi secretly getting a laugh out of this stood tall by them and looked away, before a steely glare bore themselves into him.

Despite this slight case of comedy, the two men were cautious. They were anticipating uninvited guest and the missionary's visit. Though now they wait until the clock starts ticking, brought to life by the gunpowder.

"Is something troubling you Camilla?" Leo asked what he originally planned on before this happened. They were barely an hour in the party and Camilla seemingly approached them with purpose. He knows she rarely speaks to him unless a question will come into the conversation.

"I've just haven't seen Elise yet. She said she had a surprise to show so she kept me in the dark. However, whatever surprise she has she would never be late," her plump lips part once more to sigh as she lifts a hand to her face. "I was wondering if you know if this is part of her plans. You've always could predict her little schemes."

At that moment Takumi sensed new vampires coming close to them. He looked to then become secretly flabbergasted. With a blank face, he tapped Leo out of his thinking trance and tilt his head in a certain direction. Leo eyed at the set of girls coming to them and he too became secretly shocked.

"Kamui and Sakura, why are you-" Leo once began to ask before being cut off by the ball of energy.

"I had them come since they were going to spend the night of Christmas Eve alone!" Elise childishly hopped once before showcasing the girls in their fancy, expensive gowns. "Don't they look pretty?"

Kamui was wearing a sleeveless grey tight dress that had linings of silver as accents. Her arms showcased the faux silver armlets carved with enigmatic lines. A shimmer of high-quality makeup brightens her complexion with a healthy glow. The hoop earrings that brought a strong presence against her face was balanced by waves of white hair. Leo did think she was foolish when she began to bashfully reject Elise's opinion, "I think those compliments suit Sakura more than me."
