The Energy In Me (a Ninjago fan fic)

Chapter 2

It's a nice, and cold day in Ninjago. The ninja were up north. It's one of the last snowfalls of the season and Sensei and Misako had managed to get the ninja in a snowball fight, by throwing snowballs at them from the bounty while drinking tea. Nya and Lloyd were looking at Cole making ridiculously big snowballs 'cause of his super strength and throwing them at Kai, who then melted them with his fire and looked mad. Cole threw a big snowball at Jay, who got buried underneath it. Cole went over to dig him out. "I bet you 5 dollars Zane will win," Lloyd said to Nya. "Bet accepted. But I have my money on Kai," Nya replied, looking at her SUPER annoyed boyfriend, sticking out his tongue at Cole, who then walked away laughing with Jay's face only showing through the pile of snow. Kai came up behind Cole with his fists on fire. "Why is this so much fun to watch?" Misako laughs. "Maybe because it's hard not to laugh when one of them gets pelted with snowballs and then gets angry," Wu agreed. "You mean you like to watch Kai in a snowball fight 'cause he entertains you the most," Misako corrected. Wu laughed. "Yes that is what I meant," he confessed. Zane then looked up at everyone. The three playing looked over to him, Zane then pointed to the sky and the next thing you know,
"Oh no," Jay mumbles
"Holy cow!" Kai yells
"Mother of snowballs," Cole says in surprise as they get buried under snowballs. Lloyd starts laughing as Nya grumpily digs through her coat pocket for 5 dollars. "Here you go," Nya mumbled. "I HAD FAITH IN YOU KAI AND NOW I LOST BECAUSE OF IT!" Nya screamed at him. Kai melted all the snow of him, took a while. Cole used his super strength to pick up at the snow on him. Then both of them together got Jay out of the snow pile, Jay was all red. "Y-you guys are g-gonna pay for t-this!" Jay shivers. "Haha not today Zap-trap," Kai laughs. Zane came up to them. "Sorry Jay, I know you feel really cold," Zane apologized. "You b-better be sorry! It'll take me FOREVER to warm up now!" Jay complained and ran inside, giving a death stare to them all. "I would watch your back Zane buddy," Cole said. Lloyd and Nya came and joined them. "Can we go inside now? I don't know if it's because of my powers or something but it's really cold!" Nya hugged herself and rubs her hands on her arms. "Don't worry. I'll just light a nice fire for everyone!" Kai boasted. "You mean put everyone on fire like last time," Cole rolls his eyes. "And you just nominated yourself to be first," Kai said. He started to throw fireballs as Cole ran away inside.

Huddling together at the fireplace, everyone was wrapped with a blanket and drinking hot coco thanks to the one and only, Zane! "So cold!" Jay shivered. Compared to the others, he had been under snow the longest and was freezing. As Jay sneezed his hair went up, making everyone laugh. "It's not that funny!" Jay whined, while holding his pink nose. He wrapped the blanket tighter around himself, he felt like he was gonna get a cold. Another sneeze, more hair up, and more laughing. Jay was getting more annoyed and then everyone next to him got electrocuted. "Jay!" They all cried. Jay held back his laughter as his mood lightened. "Sorry, it happens when I get sick," Jay said. Nya felt his forehead. "You do have a cold, oh you poor thing," Nya said and gave him a big hug. Kai threw him a disgusted look as Jay stuck out his tongue.

Nya took Jay to her room to make sure he would feel better soon. "Man I'm board!" Kai complained as he slouched on the couch. "Yeah, nothing's been happening," Lloyd agreed. "Which is good," Cole reminded them. "Don't tell me you two want to see another villain?" Zane questions. Both of them shook their heads. "But seriously, all Sensei makes us do is train and that's boring!" Kai whined. "At least we're heading south. Finally warmer weather!" Lloyd exclaimed. "I do not mind the cold," Zane remarked. "Dude your a robot! And your the Master Of Ice!" Cole reasoned.

The bounty had landed in a peaceful area near a forest. The ninja went out to explore as Wu and Misako stayed back to tidy up things a little. "They really shouldn't have taken Jay. The poor thing is really sick," Misako said worryingly. After all that she's been through with the ninja, she thought of them as her children. Even though Lloyd would be her only child, and she didn't think that anyone else felt the same way but Misako still felt that way. A natural mother habit. "Not that they listen to us anymore anyway," Wu reminded her with a laugh. Misako smiled, although Garmadon will always have her heart she did like Wu, but was careful not to let the feelings grow too much. Then there were footsteps, Misako tensed up as Wu left to check it out. Misako followed, not wanting Wu to face whoever was there, alone.

"Who are you?" Wu questioned, with an aimed bo-staff at the stranger in a black cloak. "Don't you recognize your own sister Misako?" The woman asked and took off the cloak. Showing blackish white hair, soft hazel eyes and a smile. "Miranda!" Misako cried and hugged Miranda. Wu relaxed his muscles but his heart started to beat faster. It confused him a little, after all he always had eyes for Misako. But he knew deep down inside, that maybe Misako wasn't right for him, but no point for falling in love now right? Wu needed to watch over the ninja and Ninjago, and it wasn't easy. "Aren't you going to say hi Wu?" Miranda questioned in a teasing voice. Wu snapped outta his thoughts and went over. "Well hello Miranda. Haven't seen you in years," Wu remarked. Miranda smiled.

Wu and Garmadon were at their dad's friend house for the first time ever. Their dad had to run an errand and their mom...well she wasn't around. "Come meet my kids," the man with a kind voice said. Another woman led 4 girls and 1 boy over. "This is Misako," the man said. He pointed to the one with round glasses and brown hair which was in a braid and she had hazel eyes. "This one is Miranda," the woman pointed to a girl with medium black hair and hazel eyes. "This one is Kate," the man said as he pointed to a girl with short brown hair and hazel eyes. She started at them with disgust and walked away after she was introduced. "Never mind Kate, she's like that. This one is Lily," the woman pointed to a girl with kinda long brown hair, freckles and green eyes. "And our only son, Andrew," the man pointed to a boy with brown hair, green eyes and freckles. Seems like only 2 of the kids had green eyes and freckles. But Wu and Garmadon had fallen for the one with glasses, as they got to know everyone more, they liked Misako more. But as much as Misako made his heart beat faster, so did Miranda. Wu didn't understand it, maybe it was the way she cared for everyone the most or maybe it was the way she could think fast on her feet. He could feel that Misako would choose his brother but he wanted to be with her so much that he ignored the feelings for the other. Miranda did have a crush on Wu when they were younger, but she quickly realized that he loved Misako. Miranda fell in love as she grew older. But she had met all the bad ones, one that just do it for fun, and Miranda's heart had been broken too many times over the years, so she dropped the idea about love and never spoke about any of it. Misako only knew that her sister didn't find 'the right guy'.

It was terrible. Blood, dead bodies everywhere. A mother's last word was, 'take care of each other I love you'. Miranda had taken Misako in her arms and ran out the bloody house. Giving Misako some CPR she was able to save her life. "W-where's everyone else?" Misako croaked. Miranda cried, she didn't know how to tell her little sister. "K-Kate," she began, but Misako looked like she was reliving a memory. "Kate killed them!" Misako cried. All Miranda could make herself do was hug her only family...

"Did you find your special someone yet?" Misako winked as Miranda took off her cloak. "Please you know I'm too old for this now," Miranda answered. Wu could feel his face turn a little pink, he looked closer and sure enough saw a little blush on Miranda too. "Are you doing what I think your doing Wu?" Misako questions, a smile on her face. Wu quickly pulled his head back in embarrassment. "N-no," he stuttered. "Woah what did we miss?" Jay asks, seeing the blush on Wu and Miranda. "And who's that?" Lloyd questions.

A/n: the symptoms for the ninja being sick is a head canon that headcanonninja came up with. The snowball fight one is from @lilystrikesagain, both are from Tumbler. If I use anymore people's idea, I'll be sure to credit them and ask before using it.
