Chapter 20: Forest Part 1

     Why did we ever agree to meet in that stupid abounded building on the other side of the woods. Oh that's right because the twins wanted to explore, but since they were still looking for a way to surpass their magic they can't enter the woods. They need us to explore for them to gather any plants that may help with the potion their trying to make. Maria and Shin would have the best chance of not being found by anything living in the woods. Even through Maria is a necro-mancer, you can't tell that she is one if there are no dead bodies or spirits around. Unfortaluly without her powers Maria is defenscelesd and Shin wouldn't be able to holden anything that lived in the woods. So that left me and Kejin, both of us are skilled enough to at least defend ourselves from most enemies, even some demons. Which brings me to why we're meeting way out here. Yesturday Kejin told us that he would be spenting the next day scouting parts of the woods. Everyone but Sakura was against the idea. She said that Kejin would be safe on his own for a few hours. Sakura's the wisest in the group and no one questions her.
     Since he was going to be there for who know how long. So it was either meet him out there or good a day without blood. If I'd deicded to go a day without blood Zakuro would've killed me. I'm more scared of Zakuro then the woods. So here I am walking through a bug filled, dangerous, woods running into trees. After twenty mintues I found myself looking at an old run-down building. Just as I was about to open the door, Kejin brust through the door nearly running into me. "What the hell Kejin!" He didn't say anything, he just grabbed my arm and pulled me. We went back into the woods, "What's going on? Why are we running?"  Kejin waited until we were safely hidden in a tree.
     "Somethings been following me. At first I though it was nothing, but just now I was attacked."
     "Did you see who or what it was that attacked you?" We watched the building for any signs of movement. All was quiet as we whisphered. 
     "All I could see was a  shadow that looked like a tail." He said, just as saw movement out of the corner of our eyes.
     "If it was following you all day, what were you doing to make it attack you now?" I waited a moment before asking.
     "Until I went into the building it kept it's distance. I guess as long as I didn't go into its terrare, it didn't see me as a threat." All was quiet, nothing had happened in the past few moments. "I think its gone. Come on." He climbed down the tree, then caught me when I jumped down.
     "Lets leave before it deicdes to come back." I said.
     "You go on ahead. I need to go back." Before I could protest he ran off back to the building. I let out a sigh, before chasing after him. Its to bad I didn't move two steps before I was attacked. Damn, its times like this I wish had my vampire senses.
