Chapter 4: Powers

The screen cuts to the North Pole where four portals appeared four sacks fall out of them and Toothless who crawls into the shadows ready to attack. Jack scrambles out of his sack and looks at the guardians clearly annoyed. "Why couldn't you just have called me?" he asked

"I agree North; I mean I totally love being tossed through magic portals" said Hiccup. "It hasn't even happened yet" pointed out Rapunzel. "Yea but it doesn't look comftable" Hiccup said shrugging.

"There you are Jack; we have found the Guardians of the seasons!" At this point Rapunzel crawled out the sack and looks at Jack, Merida is on the ground staring at Jack while hiccup is in a crouch unsure of what to do. "You have to be kidding me! KIDS" yelled Jack.

"So kind frosty" laughed Merida

 Rapunzel, Merida and Hiccup all raise their eyebrows. Rapunzel hooked Jack with her hair and forced him towards them, pulling out her frying pan. Merida aimed an arrow at Jack while Hiccup drew Inferno and Toothless who leaped out the Shadows lit with a plasma blast.

Everyone turned to jack who looked dumbstruck. "Um...well...I wasn't expecting that" Jack mumbled, the other Guardians laughed.

"OK!" Jack said nodding "maybe they can fight" North came up behind Jack and lifted him out of the fray laughing, Bunny was looking awfully smug at this. "Oh your Teeth are amazing" Tooth was cooing over Rapunzel and Merida holding their mouths open. Hiccup backed against toothless at this. Tooth flew over to Hiccup and smiled, copying this Toothless gave his signature toothless grin causing Tooth to fall to the ground and scramble away.

"I swear he had teeth a moment ago" Merida said confused. All the Vikings burst out laughing, "He has retractable teeth" laughed Hiccup Patting Toothless on the head.

Toothless teeth came back into view, and Tooth calmed down. "Now for the ceremony you are now guardians" Elves and Yetis surrounded the three (Four if you count toothless), Jack hovered in the air not knowing what to do. "STOP" screamed Merida, Fire blazing around her hands. "ENOUGH" cried Rapunzel, water ringing the three of them. Everyone froze.

"How did you two do that" asked Fergus, Merida and Rapunzel both looked as shocked as anyone else.

"Well I guess we know what seasons you are Shelia's" Bunny said breaking the silence. "Rapunzel you are Guardian of Spring able to control water and flowers, Merida as Guardian of Summer you can control fire and Heat" North explained. "What about hiccup?" asked Tooth

"of course it's Hiccup that is entirely useless" laughed Snotlaut. Astrid punched him sending him flying into the wall. "Hurt so good" murmured Snortlaut

"Mabey he isn't good enough to be a guardian" a voice taunted out the shadows. Pitch emerged from behind the globe. "An impressive display princess" congratulated Pitch to the two girls. Shadow knocked everyone but Hiccup back as Pitch strolled towards the Viking.

"Pitch" growled Jack. Stoick watched the screen in terror as his only son was being approached by the boogieman.

Pitch walked right up to hiccup and bent down to whisper in his ear but loud enough for everyone to hear, "They won't except you because the truth id boy, you're not good enough to have powers, but I could teach you to become powerful, so powerful no one would ever see you as a runt again"

Everyone was silent not moving a muscle.

"Just because you have been some kind of hero for the last 3 years on Berk doesn't make you a true hero, what does every outcast or trappers call you?" Pitch taunted. The camera zoomed in on Hiccup's hand which curled in a fist. Pitch leaned in even closer, only to be pulled back by a vine.

"What just happened" Asked Ruff, "Did Hiccup just find his true inner strength?" Tuff says as if in a theatre.

Pitch was pulled up into the air by the huge vine and leaves stared swirling. Pitch's face tensed and he glared at Hiccup, "For another time Haddock" He whispers. The shadows disperse and everyone stares at Hiccup. "The Guardian of the Fall, able to control the wind, plants and leaves." North broke the silence.

"Well that was un expected" Astrid muttered and the Vikings nodded.

Jack landed next to hiccup and the two girls joined them, Toothless bounded behind his rider. "Now you must train to control your powers and with any luck we can find your centres" Tooth said kindly.
