Rapunzel held Hiccup as he slowly woke up, his crooked smile stretched across his bruised face. Tear were dropping themselves onto his face, Jack was looking at his best friend sadly while Merida had fallen to her knees, her eyes shining.

"No" whispered Astrid and Stoick. Most people in the room where crying.

"It's OK I'll be fine in the end" Hiccup muttered. At this a single tear rolled down Merida's as she watched someone so close to her slowly drifting away. Hiccup could see that he need to do something, "Just let me go...please" he said gently.
