As the nightmares and Mor'du approached Merida looked around for something that could help them but saw nothing, Jack flew straight towards the nightmares in the sky while Rapunzel and Merida where trying to hold of Mor'du.

"I don't think you're going to be able to survive that long Shelia" muttered bunny, Merida nodded in agreement.

Jack was doing quite well up in the air but it wasn't a fluent as when Hiccup and Toothless where in the air, the black dragon was nowhere to be found

"Toothless, you let them you useless reptile!" cried Hiccup, only to wacked on the head by Toothless's ear.

Jack was knocked out the sky and the three crouched trying to hold off a wave of nightmares, Mor'du slowly lumbered forwards as he raised his paw there was a tell-tale very familiar whistle and a purple blast knocked Mor'du away from the three. There in the setting sun they could see...

"HICCUP!" everyone yelled

Behind the nightfury flew four other dragons each with a rider. "Always a dramatic entrance" mumbled Mor'du (is able to speak in bear form), he then let loose a roar. "Astrid, Snotlaut go above a flame spine shot, ruff, tuff" Hiccup yelled at the riders, "Please say fire wall, please say firewall" pleaded Ruff and Tuff. Hiccup smiled "We need a firewall" "YES!" both twins yelled and immediately stared spraying green gas in a line while Snotlaut and Astrid fired Nightmares with flaming spines, Meatlug dropped molten rock on them.

"Nice chain of command" nodded Fergus, Elinor was looking at Hiccup and then to Merida, gently watching how the two interacted.

Hiccup smiled as he watched the three break free and again start fighting but this time with more fire.
