shadewillow awoke, the bright dawn light filtering in the twoleg den. she struggled to her paws.
then she realized. school!! she raced outside to the stream, where she quickly rinsed off her pelt. as she licked her fur to dry, she thought about school. who will i talk to? but quickly shook herself out. theres no time, she reminded herself. at that moment, the twoleg bus came up.
she pelted into the twoleg monster, and they rode off to school.

when she arrived at school, she did all her boring classes. hollypaw had wanted to come, and she regretted it now. "im so bored!!" she sighed. shadewillow shot her a glance. "I told you, but would you listen?" she hissed. the mentor looked at her, curious about who in the name of starclan she was talking about, but kept on. this is only the first class!! wait, after this i have recess!! she realized with joy. just then the mentor let them out. she pelted out, chasing the ginger she cat she wanted to talk to. "hi!!" she shouted. the shecat turned around and scoffed. "what do you want?" she sighed exasperatedly. shadewillow skidded to a halt. this she cat obviously didnt want to talk. "um... hi... do you know Dog?" she asked warily. the she cat hissed. "what kind of a name is dog? stop bothering me, kittypet." shadewillow sprang at her with her claws unsheathed. "no one calls me a kittypet and gets away with it!" she snarled as she slashed the she cats side. the shecat howled in pain, and to shadewillows surprise, Dog came up and whispered, "are you ok, Tiger?"
