May's new crush (seven knights fan fiction)

His new way

"W-what do you think your.. doing?"spluttered May getting up, still shivering from the cold weather. Most felines were weak to elemental resistance and may had a definite weakness in freezing areas. Spike backed away to give her some space. He looked at may closely, with soft eyes while she was dusting off the snow on her skirt. May tried her best to keep her emotions shut but her face was blushing hard. 

'Why is he looking at me like that..' wondered may while she continuously polished her skirt. Then, when she was done, she looked at spike's passive face to see it was completely different to the one she saw earlier. Back then, he had a much more meaner attitude with colder eyes as if to reject her. 'Was he afraid of what the public might think..or even his friend..? Keeping up his fierce reputation must be a tiring job especially as a seven knight.'  His stare continued but she quickly made him quit it.

"So, why were you hiding when.."

"When... what?" mumbled May looking quite disappointed at how terribly she hid.

"...when you know I would find you." whispered the seven knight near her ear. 

"!?"

"I see things that nobody else can see.."

"W-w-what?!"

"I see you EVERY day and you don't disappoint  me with your smiles."

"A-are you a stalker..?"said May looking down

"You exploit enough confidence to say that to a seven knight but no, I guess not."

"Then how can you.."

"I see things that nobody else can see."

Than may remembered a faint memory of a voice that resembled his voice while at work. 'has he been noticing me..?' 

"..but I could be your personal stalker if necessary" whispered spike again 

"...so.. I guess this is what the seven knights true colors are. Flirting and being cocky to people who respect them until they crumble inside... and .. and..."

Suddenly a tear rolled down her cheek. "W-what? Why? He didn't do anything to me.. yet I'm crying and... I feel so vulnerable against his teasing words." 

"Sorry.. I n-need to be somewhere." stuttered may as she fled quickly away from him. Tears sprang out faster and she couldn't control it. She made one of the worst first appearances ever and there's no way that she could stitch it up. Was she afraid of what ..he thought?...

Spike on the other hand knew he left a innocent mark in her heart. He was pleased with himself at the step he took but it was going to be a hard time to may. He stood there still, and smiled at the running silhouette in the far distance.
