Unexpected yet welcomed guest

 Suddenly a gigantic dragon appeared in front of the group, posing fiercely but it wasn't alone. Along side the dragon was huge chunks of frosty ice, hovering over them and waiting to be smashed.  

Suddenly, as if gravity gave up hope on the group, the chunky ice didn't hold back and let them selves free from the sudden force that grasped them. The ice dragon followed in lightning quick speed and crashed right towards the ground causing a massive impact to occur.

"Ma-"alice shrieked loudly as the attack came to an end but may didn't head what else alice had to say. The time froze and pitch black surrounded her inner vision widely. Her whole body went numb violently and not a single stiff body part of hers were tolerated to budge as if all of their freedom and rights were stripped off. What happened to her? Had she ever experienced such gruesome agony in even the past few years? Probably not and she wouldn't even recommend the pain to anyone else if they even wanted to ever try. For minutes she stayed effortlessly bored and at last couldn't bear the pain. If she couldn't inhale even a bit of pure oxygen then good bye to her confessing spike and other life wishes she had in mind. Then she could hear a very quick yet muffled singing voice that sounded desperate as if satisfactory hasn't reached its needs. It grew louder every second and soon enough, she could recognize the owner of the voice, it was alice, casting a spell on her. 

The ice that surrounded may cracked suddenly and she fell to the ground, completely exhausted at the long wait. She laid for not even a few seconds to find her self pulling her own body upwards. Being in the battlefield where continuous battles are fought is something everyone had to taken seriously although she was dying to get a rest. Surprisingly though, her stamina was all replenished and she was ready to go unlike her usual lazy self. She was suspecting that alice's heal probably did have a effect as nothing else could have possibly changed her. She took a quick glance at the ground to see shards of broken ice stained with her very own blood surrounding her feet around but she wasn't alone. Yui, nia and his robot seemed to have fallen victim to the element as well. Painfully to admit that it was now the opposing teams turn, may got ready to resist the attack that they were probably going to throw toward her. Strangely, a tall boy closed his eyes to be only swallowed back into a dark shield and sounds of painful grunts escaped loudly. Instantly, the dark energy began to spread across rapidly over his own team. The both teams were both perplexed and baffled at the very bizarre sight. It soon vanished quickly and soon enough, an azure blue light flooded over the other team's body, signifying a positive change on the other teams status.

"...elemental immunity..." whispered alice with round eyes, almost in a dumbfounded demeanor. Jin wasn't to happy at the opposing teams next choice and silently moaned under his breath

"Nia... it's your turn."said jin quickly with subtle yet begging eyes.

Nia replied with a knowing smile and winked. He mounted on bolt and they took off in a hurry, abandoning the team edgy. He then declaimed the incantation quietly, leaving the robot fidgety. Suddenly, spontaneous sparks began to form speedily beneath the robot's feet. Miraculously, bolt got lifted upwards towards the sky and nia smirked deviously. With a defying pose, nia gestured towards the team and the monstrous bot obeyed silently. With purple oval like beams forming around below his leg, bolt moved forward in the air, generating air to sway against him. Then bolt arrived at his destination, the opposing team. 

"...fall..."boomed bolt.

Forthwith, bolt landed dully down onto the rivaling team, penetrating the shady barrier. While plunging forth into the barricade, nia, with incredible force,  smashed two spells together bluntly and a intense light reappeared. Immediately, a timepiece and two turning cog gears came into a visible state for a short period of time. Although the damage delt towards the team was embarrassingly low, it seemed to have an effect on time majorly. To avoid being the victim of a counterattack, nia and bolt withdrew quickly. When he approached his own team, he could see that he did improve his mood. Although he didn't completely recover from anxiety, he did come up with a sudden brilliant idea that could support the idea of winning the battle. When the opposite team used the skill that formed the dark barrier, he noticed that the tall boy cast a spell that made them immune to any negative elemental contact. Although he didn't know how long this spell lasted, he did have an educated guess of what seemed like 3 turns. When nia finished his skill, he could see the blue light still cruising around the opposing teams body however, it did flash occasionally, indicating that they had only one turn left of that nasty spell left. 

"Nia, I think we will have to save your first skill for something else."Jin informed.

"For what?"queried nia.

"Since we have 10 seconds to spare, may, go use your second skill now." ordered jin.

"Okay then..."replied may, trying not to show hints of fear that almost over took her. She got then got her weapon out and whispered her won unique chant that energized her machine gun with pure power.

'How do I even know this chant... it's been almost 13 years since I sang this...'

She then could feel the capacity of her weapon overflowing and decided to let the serrated bullets free. May, without paying attention to where she was aiming, let the bullets fly and released them recklessly. She then could see quick snowflakes entering through the battlefield entrance letting the frosty air get slightly colder. They quickly faded away throughout the light mist and then another peculiar event occurred. Frozen footprints visibly appeared and crystallized ice formed on the grass letting the area get more suspicious.

'What..on earth...?....Eh, Whatever, can't let speculated conclusions get to my head. Probably still daydreaming from the lack of sleep I got.' Thought may to herself.

The bullets were bound to wound every opponent severely however, this was not the case. Suddenly, a thick fog appeared and promptly, sounds of bullets clashing into sturdy steel could be heard. The skill was lifelessly blocked instantly... but by whom?"

"Oh no you don't!"whispered a charming voice that was directed towards may.

May cringed hard. Could it be...

I had to change some bits of how the characters fight to what happens in the real game to make it more realistic. Also added some new characters since there wasn't enough to make up a class. (I'm still not satisfied with how many are in each class yet XD-still not enough). Will upload in the next 6-7 days and hope your enjoying the fan fic!
