May's new crush (seven knights fan fiction)

A Withering Glacial Wave

The light evidently grasped onto her skirt and she was being recklessly towed away.

"N-No! I ca- AHHHH"

*May's vague memories*

"...Why not?" replied the quivering voice.

"..."

"Mo-"

"Just...just remember, even in the midst of  chaos, don't fall into a hazy state. Strive my girl. Something will reward you handsomely." mentioned the towering figure.

"You will?"

'The figure chuckles lightly' 

"Even if i'm not there with you, something else will."

"What's 'something', m-"

"Honey~!We have to get going! It's waiting!" Chimed in a third voice.

"Got'cha!"replied the distinctive person.

"Where are you going?" questioned the young girl in a delighted tone.

"...Work." replied the figure, evidently aiming to not drop in a shady tone.

"Can.. can I come too?"she asked

"You can stay here today..." the woman replied hastily, gazing in a different direction as if to conceal a withering secret.

"It's dangerous today... like everyday... isn't it...?" Implored the girl heavily

"...It'll be okay. We'll come back for you." she replied, turning back to face the young girl

"I'm scared... I will always be alone if-"said the girl, speculating a utter tragic cosequence.

"You will never be alone, sweetie. We are always here for you... and so will someone else..."

"...W-who..?""asked the girl, her emotions  shattering over her.

"You will meet that person soon and we will come back, don't worry."the person asserted hesitantly.

"P-promise?"

"We promise dearly."

There was a sudden crash that was evidently triggered miles away. "We gotta go!" hinted the man that wasn't apparently present yet. The man finally rushed out of the room and hastily seized two immense machine guns recklessly.

"I love you..." said the girl ever so compassionately.

"...We love you too"

The young girl and the woman both were engulfed in a sensitive hug that evoked the young girl fully. A distant tear leaked gently from both eyes of the young girl's. 

The woman soon reluctantly broke the warm embrace and turned steadily to the man who was silently watching.

The two figures left briefly, however, the man bequeathed two strands of a completely round cotton-elastic fabric.

"Wait! You forg-"

The door slowly shuts behind them.

"Forgot your hair tie..."

The door was colossal to a extent that immensely limited the young girl's ability of reaching the two figures who were evidently walking away.  She hurriedly rushed over to her own room when a few words were caught in the young girl's sensitive ears. 

"T-they're still close..."

She leaned into the door and could plainly hear the distinctive voices again but this time, the tone had majorly differed. The woman was sobbing endless tears it seemed.  

"D-do you think she's going to be alright...?" asked the woman sorrowfully.

"..." The man was still hushed by the situation

"*Sigh*...  I can only worry deeply... she still isn't capable..."

".... Capable of growing her own potential...?" ventured the man with considerable pace.

"She has great potential... that young little girl... why do you think we asked "him"..?"

"Of course..."

"It wasn't our rightful duty to ad-....... when....keep....." Stated the woman, however the steady beat of the distant explosions drowned out the rest of the  conversation. 

"They're gone..."

(Hey guys! SO sorry for keeping you guys wait FOREVER. It's way past the date I was expecting to upload... I decided to upload short little chunks of story as that is much more promising then long bits that take forever to write and plan. Thanks for reading though! I'm striving to upload next week and if I upload twice that week, don't be surprised. I'm more determined now. And also, don't be surprised if I don't upload for that week. I still haven't gotten rid of my procrastination habits. Apologies again to you all who have been waiting forever.)
