"We can't keep doing this." Justin says. "We have the same friends. We run in the same crowd. We're going to keep running into each other. So this can't keep happening. I know you're in a serious relationship. I know that you love him. But, honestly, deep down I think you still love me too. If you didn't, seeing each other again wouldn't be such a problem.
So, this is me, putting all my cards on the table. I love you and I want to be with you- that's the big picture. Fuck the details. Don't worry about what states we live in or about my job or yours. Forget all that. Just focus on what you feel... for me.
And I know it's not that simple. But it can be. So the balls in your court. Make a decision. Because we can't keep doing this."
He pushes strands of curly hair behind his ears and meets my gaze. "You know where I stand," he says as he gets to his feet. "Now, it's up to you."
