I came and sat down next to Cherry at our small wooden dining table. I took a massive bite out of my toast and tried to say the best I could (while chewing!)
"So whats up?"
My dad looked up at me, but for some reason his eyes couldn't meet mine, they just flicked about all over the place. Both of my parents had a dull expression, its almost as if they were nervous
"Hey, why the dull faces?"
I said as I finished chewing. My mum looked at him and placed her palm on his hand ans squeezed it shut.
"Shall we tell them, Dear?"
Asked my mum softly. It sounded like I was about to be told something terrible, but by the smile of her face I knew it was something amazing.
"Tell us what?"
I gasped excitedly. What could it be? Was I about to get a new and updated phone? Okay I know that sounds pretty naff but to be honest My mum doesn't have a job and we aren't exactly the richest family in the world, so I think it's pretty easy to guess what my phone looks like.
"Well, As we know we're currently renting this...er...somewhat small house-" My dad began but before he could even finish that my mum Interrupted
"We're going to be moving and we're going to live in a lovely mansion with this lovely family. of course I have to do the cleaning to help pay because a mansion would be way to much money for us to afford-" She yelled so fast I took me a while to take in what she had just screamed at me.
"What your mum is trying to say is we're going to be moving. Out of this area." Said my dad.For a minute or two I just sat there gulping like a goldfish.
"What the hell?! Moving!!! BUT I LOVE IT HERE!" I cried I stood up straight. I felt tears pricking in my eyes, But before my parents could tell me off for disagreeing or yelling or whatever they would have said my little sister Cherry stood up too.
"Jade is right! I love it here too!" She cried. Well yes that's my name. Jade I'm fourteen, almost fifth teen. I have brown hair that goes down past my shoulders, I have misty blue eyes and a decent sized body. Cherry is completely different. she has the lightest hair known to humanity Its almost white! She has looks to die for! I for one would love those lovely lips she has, and that small nose sprinkled with a few freckles. And her eyelashes are naturally long! Need I go on? For a nine year old, she's pretty cute.
"WES MUMMA WADE IS WITE!" Said Luke from somewhere. I'll just translate that for you He's only two and can't speak properly, He said yes mummy Jade is right. Seriously is this kids vs. Parents or something?
"See? Have you lost your minds?" I screamed as I scooped my remaining toast from my plate and threw it at my parents. I grabbed Luke under my arm And legged it up the stairs, Cherry running not far behind.
