I grabbed the pink pencil that was laying on the bedside table, I quickly crossed out Yesterdays date on my calendar. It was now three days until my birthday, and things at Lakeside mansion couldn't be much better, Yesterday was great, Me and Archie spent some quality time together, even if it was just talking about school. I just hoped Leavery High was a nice place.

Suddenly a little click in my brain set off, I remembered today was my first day at the new school! I flipped the cover onto the floor and danced over to the uniform Archie handed me. The polo shirt was pretty simple, just like the one I had at Jebie high school. The jumper was a dark blue colour and it had a small logo on the upper left. I threw the black mini-skirt over to the wardrobe, I wouldn't be needing that for some time. The weather was absolutely poring with snow. Insted I slipped on the tight black leggings. I came over to the mirror, and brushed through my brown thick hair as it swirled about. Then I applied some mascara and eyeliner, before finishing off the look with a bit of tinted lip gloss. I rushed downstairs to the ground floor.

When I arrived Archie was already there, so was Lia and Gordon, My parents were inside the kitchen tucking into some toast.

"Oh, Jade! Hello dear, the maid has prepared some toast, go and get some. Its going to be your big day!" She said as she clasped her hands together, smiling. "And before you rush off, we brought you a early birthday present!" She said as she wrapped her arm around Gordon.

Archie appeared from behind them, he handed me a stunning black leather bag, decorated with pure diamond. "Yeah, they wanted to treat you to a school bag." Archie grinned, as he rolled his eyes.

"Wow... I ....I don't know what to say... It's amazing!" I said through excited gasps of breath.

"Yeah, and its ready packed too." Said Archie as he marched me towards the kitchen.

I placed the bag under a chair next to Archie and plopped down. There was a big plate that had a bunch of toast slices on it.

"Erm, could you pass me some toast, two slices please." I said to Archie. He stretched over and put two slices on the shiny plate in front of me. I munched through them in seconds.

"God, quick eater, much?" He asked me. "Anyway, C'mon lets get a lift. Dad says that as it's your first day, he's gonna drop us off in his car." Archie smiled at me, pointing at Gordon. I wondered what type of car a guy like Gordon would have?

Archie slung a rucksack over one shoulder, and grabbed his jacket. I picked up my new bag and took the coat that my mum was holding. Archie dashed out of the front door, In a rush I slipped on my shoes and ran after him.

"Bye honey, love you!" Mum called after me as The freezing air hit me.

I stepped out of Cordon's luxury car, It was way better then I expected, It was a black car, very big, Its just indescribable, It was the most amazing car ever. Hell, I thought I'ld never get to sit in a car like that, let alone have a lift in it! The entire school was dusted in bright white snow, My feet sank into the thick snow. I looked up at Leavery High School, It was huge compared to my old school. School kids ran inside avoiding the cold, I watched, trying to figure out who Archie's big popular gang were, Instead I stared as I watched a small kid slip over a big icy patch, he sat there on the floor and began to howl.

"Err, Jade?" Archie said waving his arms in my face. "C'mon stop staring, lets go, everyone is waiting to see you!" He said

I stood still, silent. My heart began to race, I'd never felt so scared in my life. Archie put his arm around me.

"I'm scared..." I almost whispered. Archie squeezed my shoulder, in a comforting way, Then he let go and let his arm droop freely.

"I know, It's gonna be okay, follow me." He said as he stepped into the icy path and lead me to the gates.

Waiting around the entrance was a group of school kids, about our age, chatting away Most of them looked pretty, and  the boys looked cute, but not as cute as Archie. A girl with long dark hair turned as she saw us walk up. She Opened her mouth to talk, I saw a piece of gum on her tongue.

"Hey gorgeous chew chew chew That the chew chew chew new girl? she said pressing finger at me.

"Yeah, Jade is her name." He replied.

All of the crowed turned. first they looked at Archie they smiled and waved, I could tell he was one of the most popular kids here, then they looked at me. Most of them just nodded and carried on what they were doing, One girl said hello, then a boy with jelled hair came up.

"Hmmm, not bad.... Chest... mm nice good size, Stomach... average.. Hmmm, now curves.." He licked his lips and whistled, as his eyes darted around my body. Yuck, I wished he would stop, the only boy around here I liked was Archie, He was after all my soul-mate. My eyes squinted at him.

"Relax, Frankie checks out all the new girls." Archie said into my ear. I gazed up into his warm beautiful eyes, time seemed to go slowly as his eyes looked down at mine, then...They locked! but that was all ruined, suddenly someone pushed me aside, quite roughly actually.

"Excuse me, Hey babe...." Olivia kissed  Archie "Mm, see Jadey-Lady is here." She said looking in my direction. She was wearing a really small skirt, and her school top was rolled up, showing of her pierced belly button, someone around here must be full of themselves, and probably can't feel the cold. It was snowing!!

"C'mon Archie, Olivia.....er.... School's now starting!" Called a masculine voice from the middle of the crowd.

Archie gestured me to follow him, I walked down the corridor, I took a deep breath and thought 'I'm hanging out with the popular's I should think myself lucky, never mind Olivia. I'll soon split her away." I smiled as I saw the kids who wern't popular stare at me, wondering how I managed to be standing next to Archie. I couldn't wait for lesson to start, my first lesson with Archie, apparently he was meant to be my guide for this week, looks like Olivia won't be having the Christmas she wished for, I felt evil, I knew it was horrible, but I couldn't help but grin.s
