I heard the soft call of birds calling. My eyes opened, everything was blurry. After my eyes settled down I realized I wasn't in my bedroom. I was at My nannies and Grandpa's home. The window was in the wrong place and the light was right on my face. The curtains were open, I shoved of the blankets and walked over to the window. Everything was shining white with the colour of snow, It looked so thick, It probably was thick too. A warm buzzing feeling passed throughout my body at least Christmas was coming in a few days! I smiled down at the floor, And that's when I noticed that I had my clothes on still! I suddenly remembered yesterday, My smile faded and I slumped onto the bed.
"Honey-bee's Breakfast Is all ready come on!" I heard my Nannie yell up the stairs. I stared up at the ceiling, as I sprawled out on the bed
"Coming!" I heard Cherry yell back then I heard footsteps and some muffled voices then I heard Luke laugh and then I heard the stairs creek, The noise soon disappeared, I was left alone silently. My stomach rumbled begging for food. I had missed tea yesterday. I slumped off the bed and took a sharp breath Today was the day, I will be living inside the mansion that's not even ours, from now on! and Tomorrow will be my first day at Leavery High school. I whipped out of the door and walked downstairs.
I sat at the table feeling really awkward, My Nannie and Grandpa stared at me in weird ways and us kids at the table were silent... well except Luke who was humming the theme tune to one of his little kids TV shows. after I finished gobbling my breakfast I excused myself and walked to the bathroom.
I looked inside the mirror My face was red and my eyes were puffy. Mascara was down my cheeks, I run the water in the sink and dropped my face inside it. The cool water felt relaxing to my face against the water lapping, As I breathed out bubbles rose to the surface. I pulled my face out and smiled in the mirror. I peered inside the glass cabinet and produced a spare toothbrush, I put on some toothpaste and scrubbed at my teeth so hard that my gums started to bleed a bit. I felt cross, and upset I just wanted to go back in time to when we lived in our old home without a problem and I still saw my best friends everyday, and Enjoyed Kiki's birthday sleepovers. I poured some water into the bathtub, I never usually have baths, but they work well to calm you down when your upset. I put in a few drops of 'relaxing lavender' and bubble bath, I peeled of my clothes and dived in, The water lapped and the bubbles puffed up everywhere I smiled and put some onto my chin
"Ho, ho, ho I'm Santa!" I smiled as I remembered when I was younger and I use to pretend to be Santa with a bIg bubbly beard. It felt really good in that bath, the lavender did help alot, I could have stayed in there for hours, but sadly somebody was banging on the door.
"Jadeeee I weally newed a pwee, I thwink I mighwt hawv a acwisidewnt!" Called Luke. Uh-oh If he needs to go, He needs to go.. Bad! I quickly got up and wrapped a towel around , I unlocked the door and He came rushing in
I walked upstairs and changed into my best casual clothes, Hopefully the people who live at the mansion wont think I look like a piece of rubbish of the streets, and I hope they don't look like ugly old rich people. after a few hours of texting Freya and phoning Kiki and Lily I heard a car pull up In my grandparents house's drive I looked out of the window and saw my parents come out.
