I looked over at the clock, It was half past nine, That meant I'ld probably been sitting hear in this hot tub watching the lovers in the pool below, for about two hours, just my luck.

"Hey Jade, we might be joining you in there in a few minutes!" Archie called up as he took a quick breath from underwater kissing.

"Yeah, sure..." I waved my hand at him, and quickly wiped away the tears that were bubbling in my eyes, hopefully he'ld just think it was water from the hot tub. I felt really angry, and decided I had to stop this silly romance he had going on with Princess Olivia. Just as I began wondering around my head, trying to find some way to break them up, I heard a voice from behind my head.

"C'mon babe, lets hope in with Jadey-Lady!" Said Olivia's stupid squeaky voice. What the hell did she just call me? Jadey-Lady?

"Erm, Prin- I mean Olivia, what the he-" But before I could even ask her a big splash covered me, for a few minutes I couldn't see or hear anything just the pale blue bubbly water splashing. I quickly recovered and looked over, The two lovers sat there tightly clasping each other. I couldn't take it, I had to split them up, but more importantly get out of there. I hopped out of the tub and grabbed the white dressing robe, I began to wrap it round me, when Archie poked me.

"Jade?" He asked "If you're on your way out, could you fetch my phone? It's on the bench." He said pointing over at the long bench.

"Mmm.." I said. It was only then when the idea finally hit me. If I could quickly grab his phone and text Princess Olivia something on the lines of breaking up, she would get cross and he would get cross about not even sending that, and then I would kindly comfort Archie, and Voila... Me and and Archie fall in love. It sounded pretty mean, but what else could I do?

"Jade?" He called again disturbing my wonderful thoughts.

"Erm, right just getting it!" I called back, giving him the thumbs up sign. Damn, I can't send the text now, I'll just have to wait. I quickly picked up his phone and dashed back.

"You sure you should be using your phone in a hot tub?" I questioned as I handed the phone to him.

"Yeah, It's okay we're just texting my mate." He said nodding "Oh, and Jade, can you come to my room at about twelve-ish? I gotta help you get ready for school tomorrow, remember?" He added.

I pulled a face, "It's Monday today, why aren't we at school?"

"Duhh, Teacher training day." Olivia quickly said, before Archie could reply.

Archie waved his hand in front of her face. "I haven't told her that yet." He said gingerly.

"Err, okay..." I looked at the clock, "I really must get going, I have....stuff... just stuff to do, see you at twelve." I said  as I made a run for the door, more questions later.

~

It was silent in my room, except from the noise of my battered old hairdryer vooming off. I grabbed a pencil in my other hand, and marked Monday  8th December off the calendar. It's just four days until my birthday, and yet I can't even feel excited. Usually I would be, getting new presents is always great, specially when the guy you fancy is getting you a new phone. Talking about the guy you fancy, It's almost twelve, I quickly turned off the hairdryer and tied my damp hair back into a high messy bun. When my hair is wet, It goes jet black, but as it starts to dry It goes back to brown, and right now it looked like I had dip died my hair. The top was brown and the bottom was black, I hoped Archie would think that looks cute.

I made my way down the corridor to a light brown wooden door, I had never been in Archie's room before, but now I was about to. I pressed my hand on the door handle, I was about to turn it when I heard Archie's soothing voice talking to a stupid squeaky one.

"She's such a bastard, Archie, honestly...I don't know why you're even bothering to help her." Olivia hissed.

"Liv, she's really not, she's actually quite nice. It's my job to help her." He said back calmly.

"So what? I don't want a bloody bastard on my lunch table!" She yelled back.

"Olivia! Just please, give her a chance, how would you like to be in poor Jades shoes? Hmm, tell me that one." He said back. They were talking about me! deliberately bitching about me!

"Well, I wouldn't be a newbie from the world of loser, why should she be hanging out with the popular's?" She fired back.

"Olivia..." Said Archie. I pictured him crossing his arms.

"Fine... whatever...anyway the drivers waiting for me, gotta go!" She said slowly co,ing back to her usual squeaky voice. I heard them kiss. Quickly I jumped down behind a small table with a vase on it. I watched Olivia walk out. Then I broke down in tears. I was so busy crying my heart out, I didn't hear Archie.

"Jade? Jeez, you didn't hear that did you?" I looked up and saw Archie above me. He spotted my tear stained face.

"Oh Fu- I mean You did didn't you?" He said helping me up. I nodded.

"Olivia can be... y'know, sometimes. but hey, It's okay, you have me. we're mates, right?" He asked

"Yeah, I'm glad we're friends Archie." I said as he guided me into his room.

Archie's room was amazing! Everywhere he had the latest gadgets and gizmos, stuff my family couldn't afford even if they used all the money they had together. The walls were painted a dark blue navy-type colour, There was a massive walk-in window seat, he also had a on-suite bathroom, It looked tonnes bigger then mine, but I wasn't about to complain.

"Now.." Archie began "About school, I just confirmed You'll be eating lunch with us, and hanging out with me and my mates, there's about... thirty two of us all together, Is that okay?" He asked My eyes widened. I guess I really was going to be hanging out with the popular celebrity-like kids. This chat was going to be... Interesting.
