Ryder's POV:

I groaned as I felt someone tap my shoulder.

The tapping turned into shaking, and then into pulling me off of the bed.

My eyes shot open as I looked up to see Wes standing there, trying to look innocent.

"Sorry but, you wouldn't wake up." He said, picking me up and carrying me downstairs.

He sat me on my regular stool, across from Keaton.

"What do you want for breakfast?" Wes asked looking in the fridge.

"Would you mind getting me a bit of yogurt?" I asked. It's actually basically become what I eat every morning.

He poured vanilla yogurt into a bowl, along with a spoon and slid it to me.

"Thanks." I mumbled. I think we all know that I don't really like to eat.

"When one of us come to pick you up, were heading straight to the studio." Wes said.

"Alright." I shrugged and went upstairs to get ready.

I slid into the shower, not even bothering to put any music on.

I showered within 10 minutes.

I got out, wrapped a towel around my body, and blow dried my hair and put it into a braid.

I pulled on a white sweatshirt that said 'Keep Doubting Me' in black and some black tights. I pulled on my black combat boots.

"Ryder hurry up!" Wes yelled up the stairs.

"I'm coming!" I yelled back down.

I grabbed my bag, jogged downstairs, into the kitchen and took my medicine.

I hugged Keaton and met Wes in the car.

"Did you take your medicine?" Wes asked.

I nodded, as he handed me my lunch money.

My phone vibrated with a text from Nick, just as Wes pulled onto the street.

'Nick: Goodmorning! The guys, Julianna and I will meet you at the front entrance.'

'To Nick: Alright. How do you know Julianna?'

'Nick: Her, Kian, and Austin used to hang out together and when I was at Kian's last night, she stopped by.'

'To Nick: Okay! Love youuuu.'

We pulled into the school parking, I hugged Wes and walked to the front entrance where Nick and Kian were.

"Where's Austin and Julianna?" I asked.

"They're not here yet, I guess." Kian shrugged.

Austin and Julianna soon showed up and the bell rang as me and Austin walked up to where our lockers were.

We got our stuff out and walked to first period. I sat by Julianna and Kian right before the first period bell rang.

Mr.Koehlein took roll, then gave us the assignment.

"Ms.Chadwick, may I speak with you?" Mr.Koehnlein asked.

"Yeah, sure." I said walking over to his desk.

"What's your father doing to support you? I'm just curious." He asked.

"Well, he's in a very successful band, it's called Emblem3." I said, earning some snickers from the girls who sat behind me.

"I doubt that." I heard one whisper.

"I mean it's not just him and I in one house. It's us, Wesley and Keaton Stromberg." I explained.

"Keaton was one of my best students. As for Wesley, not so much." He chuckled a bit.

"Wesley isn't the best influence, is he?" I asked.

"Depends." Mr. Koehlein said. With that I nodded and sat down.

"What was that about?" Austin asked.

I shrugged and did the assignment.

The rest of the day had gone by quickly and it was finally time for last period, English.

I sat with Julianna and we discussed the project and what we were going to do for it.

I pulled out my phone, without the teacher noticing, of course. Trust me, I'm a pro at this.

'To Drew: Hey, do you think my friend, Julianna could come over tm so we can work on our English project? Pretty Please?'

'Drew: Sure. Wait why are you texting in class?'

'To Drew: Calm down.'

"My dad or one of my brother's will pick us up tomorrow after school. I'll text you the address later so someone can pick you up on Saturday."

"Alright. I'll text my mom."

After she said 'mom' I instantly felt down. I always thought that, when I got adopted, that I'd get a mom back. Sure, Drew is the best but, I miss having a mom around. Someone to talk about certain things with. I know that I have Breezie and Carly and Bridgit but, a mother and daughter's bond is special. I miss my mom more than anything in the world.

The dismissal bell rang and I walked with Julianna out to the school parking.

I got into the passenger seat of the car and said a quick hello to Keaton, who was obviously driving.

"Drew's not happy that you were texting in class." Keaton laughed.

"Yeah, I know." I said.
