Ryder's POV:

'Nick: Goodmorning :) Meet us at the front entrance? xx'

'To Nick: Goodmorning. And of course. See you soon.x'

I smiled as I texted Nick. His morning texts always brighten my morning.

No, were not together. I know that's what all the cute couples do but, were just bestfriends.

Wes pulled into the school parking lot.

"Have a good day. If you need anything, just text me. Love you." Wes said, as I hugged him tight.

"Love you too Wes." I said.

I walked to the front entrance as Nick, Kian, Austin and Julianna stood waiting for me.

"Hey." I said as I reached the top step.

"Hey." They all said in unison.

"You still coming over tonight?" I asked Julianna.

"Of course." She smiled.

The bell rang, signaling the begining of school.

"Finally." Julianna and I groaned as the dismissal bell rang.

Austin and I walked to our lockers shoved our stuff, besides our homework, into our lockers.

"Hey, Ryder." Someone said cockily from behind me.

"You can't possibly be serious that Drew Chadwick is your father." Some basic white bitch said when she reached me.

I'm being serious when I say basic white bitch. Uggs, yoga pants, starbucks, and white iPhone. Was I right or was I right?

"Just leave her alone Rachel." Austin said as he shut his locker.

"Oh hey Austin." She said, fluttering her eyelashes.

"Just get out of here." He said.

"Watch your back, bitch." She murmured into my ear. "I know you're lieing about Drew." She finished before walking off.

"Just ignore her, she's not worth it." Austin smiled.

"Thanks." I smiled back. "Where's Julianna's locker?" I asked.

"Follow me." He said, grabbing my hand and pulling me down a flight of stairs and through a hall before reaching Julianna at her locker.

"Hey." She said before Austin, her and I walked out to the parking.

I showed Julianna the way to the car and I got into the passenger seat.

"Sup." Drew said from the driver's side.

"Hi." Keaton said, awkwardly from the back.

"Aye." Wes said, also from the back.

"Why'd all three of you come?" I asked.

"Well, we all wanted to meet Julianna and it would be awkward for Julianna to sit by herself back here." Wes said.

"So why didn't just two of you come?" I asked them.

"That's not how life works, Ryder." Drew snapped.

"Damn." I mumbled under my breath.

Julianna let out a light giggle from behind me. "Is this how you guys always act?" She asked.

"Most of the time." Keaton said.

"Introduce yourself." I whisper-yelled to Drew, slapping him in the arm.

"Oh." He said, suddenly remembering that part. Slick. "I'm Drew. Ryder's adoptive dad."

"I'm Wes. Ryder's brother. But, in all reality I should be her uncle but, that's not how it ended up." Wes said.

"Hi, I'm Keaton." He said shaking Julianna's hand. He's pretty awkward. "I'm Wes's brother and also, Ryder's brother."

We pulled into the drive way and I showed Julianna to my room.

On the way I showed her the basic rooms like the kitchen, living room, and the boys' rooms.

"My bathroom is through that door there." I said pointing to the door across my room.

"Alright. Where can I put my stuff?" She asked.

"Oh, you can put it on top of that chest there." I said refering to the chest in front of my bed with all of the stuff from my childhood. Including, the family photo album.

"Guys, come with me." Wes said coming in and pulling Julianna by our wrists.

We got downstairs as a man and woman stood by the door.

What the hell?
