In my affliction
I am used
For the Glory
Of My Lord

No matter
The pain or sorrow
Distress or dismay
I trust in Him

As I press on
In this journey
The answers
Are revealed

Slowly but surely
One by one
Revealed
With each step

In faith
I walk
With Him
And in Him

In my affliction
My eyes
Are opened
Truth revealed

In my pain
I am pruned
And evil
Taken away

In my sorrow
My heart quickens
Comforting others
In need

In my distress
My spirit
Receives Peace
To calm others

In my dismay
I learn that
Better plans
My Good Lord has

It is not
About me
But it is
About HIM

To love
And to serve
My duty be
To Him

To worship
And love Him
My Father
I adore

To obey
And to listen
His Words
I feed

To care
And to share
Is my call
To others

To live
And to die
In Christ
Is my purpose

In my affliction
I see
You are GOD
My King
