Arise and shine!
The new year
Has come
Shine forth for
The Light of the Lord
Has come
Behold the darkness
That covers the earth
And the deep darkness in the people
Do not be dismayed
For the Lord will arise over you
And His Glory is upon you
Therefore shine forth
In the darkness
And the people in darkness shall come
They shall see your brightness
In the rising Glory of the Lord
Radiating from within you
Let your light so shine
To bring hope to their lives
And bring them out of darkness
Where there is Light
There can be no darkness
So, arise and shine!
