Not Alone

I find myself walking
All alone in the dark

With no one to turn to
And nothing to hold onto

So lost and blinded
Groping around in desperation

Falling deeper and deeper
Into the bottomless pit

But I was not alone
Even though I did not know You

You were there with me
Reaching out to me

You called me out of darkness
Into Your Marvelous Light

To live in Your everlasting Love
Right inside Your Heart

O Thank You, Lord Jesus
For saving me from death

Forgiving me of my sins
And taking me as Your child

I am eternally grateful
For what You have done

So that I may never again
Walk alone in the dark
