It's been almost a month since I went dream walking with Bentley and Brantley. My new life here at Ashmere Valley High was going okay, to say the least. There was some talk about both brothers had taken a liking to me instantly. Plus, them acting weird around me was a sure sign of them having crushes. I played it off though. I wasn't looking for a boyfriend of any sort.

I was going to try my best at this new school and if love came along then so be it but for now I was going to focus on my studies. First period was with Brantley and him sitting beside me didn't help none, I always felt his eyes on me, never the teacher. It was hard to concentrate but I made myself focus.

After class I went to the girl's bathroom, upon entering I heard a couple of girls talking in hushed tones. In the big stall the girls were whispering. I took the stall farthest away but still heard some of their conversation.

"Liara isn't to be harmed, you heard what Bentley said the other day. If you go through with your plan, there will be a penalty behind this. Melanie please reconsider. I think he is starting to like her."

"I think so too. But I'm still going through with it. I can't have some Human girl show up and steal him away. I'm the one for him, only me. When Sophie left him I was there to pick up the pieces, me. Chelsea I can't have her ruining what Bentley and I have."

"Fine. But I'm not going- "

Hearing the bathroom door slam beside me I knew this Melanie girl was going to start something. Taking my books and setting them on the edge of the sink I noticed both of them standing in front the mirror, primping.

Keeping to myself but still peering over to my side time to time to make sure. As I was about to walk out, without me seeing her she growled and blocked me from getting out.

"Move." I said, through gritted teeth.

Melanie just laughed and shook her head. "You're not going anywhere. I have a plan for you." She smirked.

Her friend came over beside her but made no attempt to help Melanie out. She pushed Melanie out of the way and made her way out of the girls restroom.

"You huzzy! She deserves this!" Melanie shouted at the retreating girl. Trying to get by Melanie was not happening because before I could move I slung back in to the mirror. Which shattered while breaking my fall. Pieces of glass rained on top of me and even cut my skin in some places. Melanie sniffed the air and her eyes turned feral.

"You may smell nice to them but not to me. You'll wish you were never born after this." She leapt in the air but before she could land her oncoming attack Bentley was in front of me.

Oh crap! Why is he here in the girl's bathroom? Didn't he know he was going to get in trouble too? The blow sent out waves which blew my head back in to the wall. His arms were crossed and defended the attack. Stumbling back Melanie's eyes went wide eyed and dropped to her knees.

"Bentley. I was just welcoming the new girl here." "What are you doing in the girl's bathroom?"

Not saying a single word to her, Bentley picked me up and took me out of the bathroom. Carrying me to the nurse's office he never did say a word to me either. Trying to make sense of what the hell just happened, Bentley looked away from me.

"Are you disappointed in me?" I silently asked him. The nurse went to the storage closet to get me some gauze tape for my cuts.

Snapping his head to me, he bent down in front of me and took my head in his hands. "No. No. I just can't believe Melanie would do this to you. We haven't seen each other in months. I'll deal with her. I'm sorry." Leaning in to kiss my forehead, I smiled.
