Fuck. I could not believe Azalea really went out to eat with that douche bag. It was bad enough I saw him at my wedding reception but now he's taking my wife out to lunch. "Calm down Franky, calm down." I'd say it in my head but it just wouldn't be loud enough.

I pulled out my phone and texted the guys and told them to come over for a swim. It was the middle of June and it was blazing outside. I decided to close the shop early today, give the guys a little break from working so hard all week.

"Yeah man, this is the life." Rico always enjoyed a nice beer and a cigar. His beer belly was bigger than Azalea's eight-and-a-half month old belly, for Christ sake. I couldn't help but laugh at my own joke I made in my head.

"So, where's the beautiful Azalea today?" Bobby was such a prick. He was a good kid but he definitely knew how to kill the vibe.

"Well, she's not here. She's out to lunch. Now Kid let's see your best cannonball." Bobby was a little wasted already. He was only twenty two and wasn't really the type to drink all the time. As he walked from his chair to the diving board it looked like he was walking on the moon. It was as if he wasn't aware of gravity or equilibrium at all.

He took one step onto the board and had begun to lose his balance. He held his arms out to his side and walked the plank. He reached the end of the board and began jumping up and down on it. You could see that it was making him woozy just by the look on his face. On his last jump he slipped on the board hitting his nuts right on the corner of it. He shrieked in pain as he fell into the pool. God I'm lucky I don't have balls right now. Joey and Rico both cringed in pain as if they felt it just as Bobby did.

Bobby finally made it to the edge of the pool and we helped him out. He asked me for an ice pack so I walked him inside.

"Next time Kid, just say no. I'm just kidding, never say no to me." We both chuckled as I tossed him the ice pack. As I was pouring him a shot of Bourbon to help ease the pain, I couldn't help but think of how I missed my wife.

I texted her and told her what happened to Bobby. She sent me "crying laughing" emojis and said that I probably told him to. I just wish she were home already, she's been gone long enough.
