"WHAT WOULD YOU EVER DO WITHOUT ME, MY DEAR SISTER?" Jane recalled Luke's words as she took a sip from the alcoholic ketchup bottle. Matt sat beside her, tapping his fingers on the counter.

 "Forty-seven times....." She mused.

 "What?"

"You've tapped the table forty-seven times."

"Geezus, how much alcoholic ketchup did you drink?"

 "About five whole bottles."

"Geezus Fcking Cheist! Gimmie that!" Matt snatched the bottle from her  and put it out of her reach.

 "Your accent sounds funny."

"It's because I can't swear in here....might be offensive to some folks...." He glanced over to the customers before glancing back at Jane, her face filled with a bright purple blush. "You should drink too much." He sounded worried.

"I almost blasted you into oblivion, how messed up can that get?"

  He sighed. "I've done worse...."

"Lemmie guess.....touchy subject. 'I keep a lot of secrets' hahaha."

Matt set his hands on her shoulders. "Jane, seriously......pull yourself together. I'm not mad at you for.....almost killing me....you gotta get a grip."

"If you're not mad.....are you afraid.....? Afraid that I....." She broke into tears. "......hurt people.....with my magic......? That I'm dangerous.....?" She lowered her head.

"I am afraid. But not because of your dumb magic tricks or that you're dangerous. I'm afraid for you, love." Matt lifted her chin and kissed her deeply.

They stayed like that for a while before parting their lips. "Don't blame yourself....I was the dumb one who got into this mess, and I can't go back now......because you've already stolen my heart....~"

The crowd awed as they looked at the couple. Matt boosted Jane up and carried her in his arms like a prince, rescuing a princess from a horrible dungeon of lies and dark hidden secrets. "Let's go home." He said, walking out the door with her in his arms.

  Jane smiled. "Thank you....."

 "What for?"

 "Forgiving me."

"The pleasure's all mine, m'lady~" He smiled back softly as Jane giggled.
