Jane unlocked the door to her house and let Matt in. Luke and Frisk were visiting a friend in the meantime....The house is a two-story building with a cozy atmosphere, decorated Christmas lights hung along the snowy roof, radiating valiant colors of red, blue, yellow and green. Inside, the first floor; there's a living room, kitchen and bathroom. Two flights of stairs lead to the second floor, which has two separated rooms and two bathrooms.

In the living room, a couch sat in front of a long wooden table and a forty-five inch TV. Matt glanced at the surroundings and collapsed onto the green colored couch. "It's a pretty good place..." He rested his head in his arms and smiled at Jane.

"It's all we could manage," Jane said while holding a small cup of earl-grey tea.

"....and pretty cozy." Matt finished and closed his eyes. Since there are no other chairs in the living room, Jane sat beside the tired Matt. "Yeah..." She took a sip from her tea.

  Snoooore....~

She quickly took a peek at Matt's sleeping face and glanced away. "Ha! He's fallen asleep waaay faster than me....must be exhausted...." She couldn't help but smile.

"I can hear you, you know?" Matt mumbled as he continues to snore away. He had this childish, silly grin on his face.

"What? Don't tell me he can read my thoughts now!"

"I can hear your thoughts loud and clear." He smirked.

Jane blushed deeply and pinched his cheeks.

"Ow!" Matt snapped awake. "What was that for?" He rubbed the sore parts of his cheeks.

"Th-that's for intruding my mind." She brushed her arm as a nervous habit.

"Your mind's rather interesting....~" He replied with a smug-ish look on his face.

"For all I know, you were pretending to sleep....weren't you?"

 "Yes, that is true...I was."

"Wh-why...?" Part of her was afraid to ask that question.

"Because..." He sat up and lean closer to her, their noses almost touching.....if Jane were human, her heart would've leaped out of her ribcage by now. "You are interesting." Matt's body is much stronger and tougher  than her small boney one. He could easily squash her if he wants to...

"Sheesh, I'm smaller than you...." She swallowed the "You could've crushed me by now."

Warmth....can be felt coming from him, it sunk into her bones as most of the heat went straight up her head and showed her favorite color---purple. Matt's haunting eyes searched her head and he blushed a deep red.

An image of Jane and Matt dancing in the snow.....their lips almost touched when the music ended.

"Oh....you were thinking about....that..." He leaned back and rubbed the back of his neck. He laughed nervously. "Th-that was.....n-nevermind...."

 "Nevermind what...?" She asked curiously.

"Take my hands..." he held up both hands to her. Jane took both of them and blushed. Matt smiled and gave her the kindest eyes. "Ever since we met....I...I wanted to tell you this..."

 "Tell me what?"

Jane saw that his eyes gleamed back at hers, giving her this readable message; "I...I think I'm in love with you." He looked away and blushed extremely hard.

Jane softly let go of his hands and pressed a hand were the heart's supposed to be.....it's beating very fast. "I....feel the same way too..."

Matt turned to look at her again, "You do?" his cheeks flashing red.

"I do..." She replied, blushing an incredible violet-like color in her cheekbones.

In a blink of an eye, Jane felt a pair of warm lips pressed against her mouth. She just realized she doesn't have lips. "Oh nose, I forgot the lips!" She chuckled.

Matt chuckled as well and smiled.
